They're usually in the LEGO/Mega Bloks/Etc isle, not in electronics. However, TRU has them in the Skylanders front display, game area display and in the Mega Bloks isle!

my store (target) is in complete disarray with them. it makes no sense. I mean they have the mega bloks aisle but it goes - on skylander set, then all the halo sets, a skylander set on the top shelf between halo and world of warcraft, then on the other side of warcraft are the other 3 sets. They aren't grouped together like they should be. In fact thats where their tags are even!

I just ordered that one from amazon. It's cheaper there.

So, I just bought the Ultimate Battle Arcade (95423) and before I opened it, I wanted to make sure there's a site out there that gives the rules for each of the five games this thing can setup to be.

I don't want to waste my money on this, if it doesn't have official rules for each game.

Does anyone know where I can find the official rules for how to play each game? If there isn't any, I don't see the need to keep this set.

Anyhow, I saw the PDF, and then I opened and built the set, plus bought 3 of the Portal Battler sets (Terrafin, Trigg, and Ignitor). All of these sets come with hourglass and key pieces. What are they used for? I am hoping they serve a purpose that kind of makes the game deep.

I had always had it in mind to get at least the sets, but needed some money first. Now that I got some cash coming back in, I have stated building the Mega Bloks collection.

That Dark Spyro's Viking Helmet doesn't come off, does it?

It is not removeable, sadly.
The treasure pieces can be attached to bumpers, for more things to knock off, and you can use them to customize the Portals.

And that, my good sir, is a new ToysRUs exclusive.

So, the hourglass and keys don't serve any purpose towards the 5 games? They're just decoration for the little portals or to knock them off the bumpers?

Hm, I may have to devise my own game around those pieces.

I doubt we'll see wave 2 for a while. Wave 1 only just hit general retail, my bet is April time. We know there's definitely also a Thumpback figure coming. A picture of him, and a whole load of other indistinguishable figures, was uploading by accident by Brad on the darkspyro forum (it's the pic of the skylanders room that now has certain sets blurred out).

I saw these the other day. They are a bit over-priced for what they are. From past experiences with Mega Bloks (my little brother had some) they aren't very good. They don't stick together well like lego does so they fall apart. Plus the Skylanders ones look a bit rubbish.

I won't be getting those!

Quite the opposite actually. They stay together VERY well. Mega Bloks has gotten much better with that.

As for over-priced, you must be talking about Toys R Us.

Some people will never get over their Mega Bloks inferiority complexes from childhood, but the Skylanders figures alone are proof of their improved quality over the years.

It's also fun being able to play with non-statue versions of your Skylanders.

Then, replace the figures with removable megabloks ones on the base, and you have a play-able figure!

Trust me. I am DEFINITELY a Lego-guy, but the recent Halo, Starcraft, Warcraft and obviously Skylanders Mega Bloks have definitely impressed me. The quality has gone up A LOT over the last few years.

There is a Gold Sheep in the Legendary Pack.

In the picture on the 6th page with the Halo mega bloks, look at the bottom of the top Halo set. There's two gold figures the shortest looks like the gold sheep.

That is Hot Head's hand...

I finnished putting together the copter attack a while ago and I love it! The Chompies are so cute and I like to fire the missiles at the chompies to see if I can get them!

I Got The CPC And KDCC Sets.

The Crusher set was easy, but the Caslte was HARD.
The pieces wouldnt stick. But they are nice sets. The KDCC Should have a lower price though.

GameMaster78, the game is not really designed to be an incredibly deep affair. It's a fun and quick game to play so you can interact with your Mega Bloks Skylanders. It's certainly not Magic: the Gathering or anything like that.

That being said, I'm a big fan of gaming hobby type toys (I actually got my job at Mega Brands by being a world expert in Beyblade and I worked on the Mega Bloks battling games Battle Strikers and Dragons Universe), so I definitely understand the desire for something at a deeper level. We've been talking about creating an Advanced rules set for players like yourself. I'll let you know if we have anything to update on that. In the meantime, feel free to create your own game types and share them here – we could use them as inspiration!

As for the glitch with the questions ... there was actually only supposed to be 30 questions. Shouldn't have been there that day. Sorry! Winners have been contacted, thanks to everyone who played. We'll work on improving the software for the next iteration.

I put the whole Masuta Kaos castle together at other house, then tried to move it and my friend broke it all apart in the move -__-;;

But now it is decorating my bedroom, because it matches my room's colour scheme. :3

I've managed to find the four battle portals so far, but i just wanted to ask, before i started doing massive searches, does anyone know if any of the construction sets are out in australia? I don't want to go searching round lots of places to find out later that they aren't even here yet.

I finally found the Dark Spyro Portal at my local Target the other day. Only had two left. Score!

I really can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for the line. Definitely want that Legendary Pack. Besides having three Legendaries and the awesome Gold Sheep, more importantly, it has BASEPLATES! We get some in the Legendary Pack, a really small one with the Arkeyan Copter and a lot with Kaos' Castle, but the castle covers almost all of it. Seriously we need a 'Battlescape' for the Skylanders line, or like Lego, the option to purchase baseplates seperately but in the 'Skylanders green' color.

Also, I really hope we get to see some more characters from the series be represented in figure form, not just Skylanders. We got a few enemiee, Glumshanks and Kaos already, but what about some good guys who are NOT Skylanders, for example Hugo, Ermit, Cali, Flynn, Gurglefin and Eon (before he became a floating head).

Lastly, is it just me or would a HUGE set based on the Portal of Light (island?) be absolutely amazing?! Maybe with the option to 'add-on' sets such as the four Adeventure Packs. You know, like how the island looks in S:SA once you add all four Adventure Packs. Each of which come with their four exclusive Skylanders with exclusive hats as well, and with a character (or a few) exclusive to that location. For example, Sunburn, Sparx, Flavius, Ramses and Vathek for Dragon's Peak.

Just some ideas. Great work Mega Bloks!
