I was at tru a couple days back looking for some wave 3, and i asked an employee if they got a shipment cause they didnt have any. he said they got a shipment and it was a skylander madhouse their the day before. So then he and my dad were talking about how this series costs so much money and by Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure 2 it would cost like one thousand $ to have the whole collection. Maybe Skylanders 3? A more direct sequel to the first? I asked if that was what it was called and he said "not sure but it might be." Get back to me if you have any info.

He's probably just talking about Giants. It's possible to spend about 1K between the two games.

My colletion so far is over €300 and that is just giants together with ssa it is over €1000

^wow... my collection from ssa is about €200,- ( something like $320) and Giants €150,- ( something like 250$)

10 bucks avg a fig (balanced giants cost by three pack and such) I have 61 figs. Therefore minimum I've spent $610 dollars so far. Might do the actual math tonite. It'd be interesting to see.

Why would you want to know how much you've spent on this game? Nearly everything I've bought I've gotten below retail (discount from work, BOGO sales, etc) and I still get a bit sick thinking of how much I might have thrown at this series.

I finally realized I'm spending way more money than a 13 year old should be spending on Skylanders.

I was actually totaling what I got the other day for Giants. I've decided to hold onto my receipts this time and compile what I've got and how much I spent on it.

So far for Giants it's around $400 and that's including getting quite a few of the guys for sales or bogo 40% off.

oh he wasnt talking about giants. he said possibly a more direct sequel than giants was.

How much more direct can you get though? This one literally follows the story of SA so close it might as well have been the next day.

I usually buy one skylander at a time or every week or 2.
Except in the beginning when I got sales on them... also they were once $5 before they went to 7 then 8 then 9 then finally $10...
