I mean lightcores enter the game with their signature blasts and their figures have different technology than the Giants, who only have their figures glow.

Lighting tends to be touch-and-go on the wireless portals. It does work, but there's considerable flickering for what seems to be no reason, not completely unlike using one on a 3DS portal. It's all compatible, and yes, I'm certain it's all the same technology, but the corded portals will light them constantly because of a constant power supply. I would imagine there's a "power saver" feature in the wireless ones that reduces energy consumption at varying intervals to be below what is necessary to keep a LightCore lit. Since all wireless portals are S1, there would have been no way to future-proof to keep them lit constantly. Keep in mind that there are large-scale differences between battery power and running large amounts of power straight from your system to a portal.

I always link the USB cord of my portal to my Wii for constant power supply.

This aura vs light spyro BS is getting a little old, some of you are just jabbing insults at the guy because he doesn't like someone? Seriously? I can't insult you Taco, you have the name of my fav food (tacos are so delish!) I think the reason giants don't have the lightcore blast is e cause that would make them even more overpowered

My dad actually had an idea of giving the wireless portal a constant power supply. We could modify it so that we can add a power cable with a USB plug so that we can plug it in with a USB to plug-in thing. It would be wired, sure, but it would not be wired to the system.

I know there is a wired version, but I can't really use it any more as there is an annoying 1 year-old in my house, so he will tug the cord an BLAMMO, system down! So I might either: A) Do the enhancement I am talking about or smilie Get some rechargeable batteries.
