I was able to beat the "Kaosbot" with just series 1 Spyro, the first time I got to him.
The Kaos and his "super suit," combined with his minions, in "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures," I can only beat after 2 or more Skylanders are beaten.
Did any of you find the "Kaosbot" to be easier to beat?

Yes, Robo-Kaos was pretty easy to beat if you have a S2 Stealth Elf maxed out with the Winged Hat.
There is a trick to defeat the minions: Use Gill Grunt's Water Cannon on them and knock them off the sides.

I think that it was a little harder, I found the one in SSA really easy, I could beat it with one Skylander without taking a hit, in this one, I always play on hard, and it is impossible for me not to die at least once unless I am using a Parashroom Promotion .

I used my Series 1 Whirlwind for Robo-Kaos.
He's quicker to take down when you're playing in Two-Player mode.

the first game i had trouble i think i went through about 6 of my characters. the giants was easy for me and i dont remember who i used to beat him. the minions in the first game was a pain in the butt. especially when the HP got higher and higher. maybe my style of play made it hard i dont know

First game I think was a lot harder because you had to deal with the Minions (who, lets be honest...they kind of cheat) as well as the Hydra's attacks. This time, we really only have to take down pretty normal enemies (ones you can pretty easily knock off the sides...if they even land in the first place! Kaos has terrible aiming) and the occasional..uh..whatever that attack/heal machine thingie is.

SSA: Stealth Elf. Never died. Beat it flawlessly.
Giants: Easy/Normal/Hard/ Stealth Elf. Never died. Beat it flawlessly. Giants: Nightmare/ Terrafin. Hid undersground 95% of the time and hurt his hand with my fin so I won't get killed in one hit by the overpowered minions. Beat it... flawlessly? Give or take? Other than nightmare I saw no problem with the final boss. |

For Spyro's Adventure you have to also consider what console you are playing it on.

To Clarify a bit, I have never played the Wii version, I think Kaos regains health in final battle which is one reason he is harder. Which was really a crappy thing for them to do because a lot of younger kids play on the Wii. |

Well unlike the last game it provides you with OODLES of health at the right points and is faaaaar shorter. I like it better because it's more original than Spyro's Adventure... >.>

The next final boss should be a tough one with a variety of moves and much stronger too. And the ending of Nightmare mode showed...
Purple mist leaking from the Iron Fist of Arkus onto the Chompies. That gives a clue, I guess.

Even then though, I think I can kill him within like 8 minutes on the main game and that's due to dialog on all except Wii. If that's the case I guess he will be beaten in 12 minutes? That still sounds very easy to me. |

Robo-Kaos is far easier than Kaos from the first game. First time I played it, I tried not to use my S1 Skylanders as much - but I still managed to defeat him using a LC Drobot and S2 Whirlwind that were both pretty low level and had hardly any upgrades. Much easier than SSA where I barely beat him with the starter pack characters because I had a fully upgraded Spyro and had hardly used Trigger Happy or Gill Grunt.

It's not even really him that is hard, it's more of that thing he generates that makes the pods that you have to avoid. Those can get in the way very easily if you are not careful.

I don't know, but I'm happy it came back. I liked it's metallic voice. For S:SA on the Xbox360, I only used Starter Pack Skylanders, and when I got Stealth Elf I solo'ed it. Or used Ignitor to spam it's SotF. In S:G, I couldn't spam for long, as these enemies that Robo-Kaos kept on interrupting. Also the healing thingy kept on moving, so then every once in a while I have to catch up with it.

I've played the Wii version with my neighbors. Usually on the 360 I could beat Kaos using just Stealth Elf (Spyro's Adventure). With my friends on the Wii, I lost Stealth Elf and about 7 of my other Skylanders. She lost everybody but her Whirlwind. We used all of our magic items. I don't know why it was so hard. Then I had to go so she never beat it.
