I want to play online against other ppl like a tournament with a rank system or somthing like that.
And a Coop play tournament play to gather against monsters online (gladiator arena battle).
(Coop play option for max 4 ppl against the computer)

I think they will be a a start like kaos mother making him apolagisy to the skylanders and master eaon for what he had done( is a kid game!) and a new evil will apper but this time glumshaks and kaos will be allys and playeble characters thats what i am expecting

And this game is a copy of digimon world 4 just miss the weapons 4 players and jump (skylanders is a upgrade version of digimon world 4)

Way too easy?
I've had Skylanders die with full health in one damn hit in Nightmare Mode, just for me to put another on the Portal without time to move as they surround them too and they die literally instantly.

Op probably played through once on Easy or Medium and thinks that is all the game had to offer. I would be surprised if they had completed Nightmare with 100% completion yet.

Well know more about 3 when the toy fair happens. Probly.

Skylanders 3 will more than likely be announced relatively soon. Toy Fair this year is Feb 10-13th, and that will probably be when we first get images or other details about the next game, granted this series is going to have an annual game release (which looks like that's exactly what they're doing now)

It seems this time around, they're really focusing on a continuing storyline, so I think it's probably safe to say the next game will focus on Kaos' Mother. I've mentioned in a thread a while back that when Kaos first sticks his feet into the toy store Portal on Earth, his feet look suspiciously wooden like, almost akin to the Willikin. What that means for him returning as a villain (as well as Glumshanks) and Kaos' Mother as a possible playable character or boss remains to be seen.

I want Pop Fizz series 2 in Beast Form!

I want series 2 Spyro, this is his game series afterall! I know Spyro isn't in the title this time but he deserves better treatment, a giant spyro would be nice!

Skylanders will most likely have Spyro in every game, but as equal status as the other Skylanders.

Ehh... I'd give them until February or March to announce something. Although I'd seriously consider waiting for the Nextbox and PSFuture if I were Activision. >.>

Skylanders 3 will be out before an Xbox 720 or a PS4. They might get announced this year at e3 but they still need time to develop and get ready to ship. Especially for the PS4, there's been no indication that they've been developing one at all.

Well in a third Skylanders game, I really would like to see the Skylanders talk to the other characters( Hugo, Flynn, Cali, Persephone, ect). Toys for Bob could do what Vicarious Visions did for X-Men legends with certain characters having special dialogue with other characters( they did this in Spyro's Adventure with Hugo calling Spyro, Gill Grunt, and Trigger Happy by their names instead of just Skylanders).

Besides that, I think there should be an option to have a CPU controlled Skylander when two toys are on the portal. Not everybody has someone to play with.

The only problem I see with that is it's not actually the Portal Master controlling it.

That's actually pretty clever. The only problem I see is that Kaos has his dark minions and not actual Skylanders. Maybe when you use your Skylander he uses its dark counterpart. Might have some trouble with Spyro and Dark Spyro, though.

Or Kaos's large family Vs Kaos with his mum the main skylander and Kaos as the enemy

Probably. Activision's approach to new features is extremely gradual... unless the developer tells Activision to go away and give it some space (ALL GLORY TO TREYARCH). <.<

Really, all i want is online play because that would be awesome!

Mm....they look far too wooden to be booties.



Plus you can see the same color is on his legs. If they were like shoes, I don't think they'd look like his legs. Whatever they are, the legs and feet certainly don't match what Kaos' flesh tone color is.

Online PvP and Co Op need to be in the next game.

I think that when it comes to online connectivity...
3DS - Maybe online modes where you have to complete the level before the other Portal Master. Also PvP battles.
Console - Skystones online should have been obvious.
Also, co-op would be difficult as players wouldn't cooperate all the time. Also people say 4-player would be fun but think of all the screen space that'd take.
Online PvP? Once again, the obvious is obvious.

we are talking about activision here that have yearly cod releases and milked guitar hero to death... so i am pretty sure skylanders are gonna be a yearly thing. we talk 16-20 levels, reuse of the game engine/textures, 8 new giants 8 new newlanders then reposes and legendaries of the s1 and older newlanders..

everyone is talking about some sort of online feature gameplay wise, so its coming. what that online feature is we dont know but even the wii-u have a proper online thing going now, so online gameplay is a given. toy for boob have also said talking skylanders is the next thing... like you get a recorded voice of the figurine when you put it on the portal instead of hearing it ingame as we do now...

reuse of the game engine/textures, they only have to stitch it together and add online, figurines are done (they did all 32 but gave us only 16, reposed are older figurines that didnt got used when they did ssa) also next base will be fluorescent purple...

yes, all of this is certainly coming.

Don't be so certain, Kappa. Online play may or may not happen in the next game. Just because "everyone" is talking about an online feature, doesn't mean it's 'definitely coming right away'. Toys for Bob could still be thinking about the possibility. We don't even know the details of the next game until they either reveal it at this year's Toy Fair, or later on. Just saying. You don't want to get all worked up on a feature you are certain is going to happen, and then feel angry when that feature isn't included.

ONLINE IS COMING.

Proof? I know they said last year that they're looking into the online feature, but do you have an official source of your claim? We're all just speculating here.
