so i finally had done all the hc in ssa for my spyro s1, so now i was looking forward to upgrade it more and i had 11 new sa hc to be done...

the result before...

spyro s1 maxed 32 heroic in ssa

health 560
speed 98
armor 48
critical hit 80
element powers 100

the result after...

spyro s1 maxed 32 heroic ssa + 11 heroic sg = total 43

health 716
speed 90
armor 39
critical hit 110
element powers 96

the increasing health was welcome but then i see what i lost... i can't understand this at all, the point in doing hc was to upgrade not downgrade... it dont make sense at all.

but then it hit me... if i wanted the xp i had lost i was forced to buy the s2 and do their hc. the evil master plan of toy for boobs was factual...

i actually for once agree with this program in the game, leveling out and 'dumbing down' HC stats. Because otherwise, we'd end up with Skylanders that are like 200 critical hit, 350 elemental power, so on a so forth. And as if playing like that would ever be remotely fun, the leveling stats also do good diligence to keep the difficulty settings in check.

Kappa, I get your frustration. Do you really need to add the extra O in Bob?

I think the reason for the higher health stats is because Spyro is only Level 10 in SA but Level 15 in Giants. When a Skylander is leveled up, the health stat increases.

but then they remove the armor... and with that your increased health stats lowered to more or less the same you had from ssa... but guess what... why not buy more skylanders so you can do the hc, it will bring back the lost armor.

1st thing I noticed in Giants was my Stealth Elf wasn't as fast as she used to be... then how strong how she used to be (I still like her though).
I did noticed all those changes though later on and thought it was bogus.
They're both right and wrong that Series 2 are made stronger than Series 1, but the problem is that Series 1 went backward so my only guess is Series 2 get the stats the Series 1 had from the original game and finally can upgrade in giants.

Even then, I'm not getting any series 2 that I can help not getting other than Stealth Elf.
(Was forced to get Cynder in a way and same for Chop Chop).

Yeah. It makes a lot of sense. They just want you to buy more figures so they can make more money.

they remove the stats, but then you can buy s2 and get the stats that they took away back... so your theory of dumbing down stats go out the window there my friend.

um... no?

I'm pretty sure series 1 and series 2 figures start out with the same stats. I think you need to do your research more on how the heroic power boosts work from both games. They designed it so that if you had a series 1 and a series 2 all maxed out, that they would be the same strength and stats, besides the obvious wow pow and path changeability.

here, see if you can decipher this thread, because this guy seems to know what he's talking about, and can define more what the issue is more than me. In short, 32 S:SA HCs = 50 S:G HCs, and therefore you get less for each heroic challenge in Giants, regardless of which game you earned it in.

good luck
