Paramushroom is better. The barrier boost gives him basically no attack style. The spore cloud is useless, the amt of shrooms is a petty upgrade, and the burrowing is pointless. Go paramushroom.

Say, anyone know the best route to go with Double Trouble. I'm trying to decide to keep it as a final. Btw, I have S1 Double Trouble so once I pick a path, there is no switching without resetting.

And Trigger Happy, I hear it's good to NOT go down the gun path with the S2 and its Wow Pow but what about the S1 without the Wow Pow?

This. Easily and by far the best ghost upgrade of any kind for Cynder, either path. A very underrated attack in the Giants engine. Shadow Dancer's slow effect actually working is a big upgrade too, but exploding ghosts are suddenly very easy to hit, and damage racks up quickly.

Also, Double Trouble should be on Channeler. I won't need to explain why if you'll simply go try it; the path sells itself.

Yeah Siren griffin is pretty powerful, with the extra shockwaves, they really help for killing those crystal golems in story mode. In pvp they help you a lot when you're fighting characters like Floral defender Zook.

The tiers are in another thread. It's the forum's collective attempt to find out who's the best at PVP basically. However, I do recommend Vac Packeteer across all modes, despite Bird Blaster having some neat abilities in Story.

Chill I went with Ice lancer 25 damage that quickly really adds up. In PVP you can run quickly turn and throw a javelin. I found ice blocks to be stationary, and hard to use.

I completely agree on Ice Lancer. The fact that you can run full-speed while spamming them is a great strength, and it's not like the ice walls are awful without augments.

smilie: Tesla Dragon has been the best one for along time, people thought it was Slime Serpant. He can't do any good damage without this path though. And S2 Zap isn't out yet, sorry.
smilie: Oil Baron and The Burninator are very equal. I prefer Oil Baron as I find it more fun than spamming X and holding A.
smilie Siren Griffin. Look above these posts, but it is undoubtably very strong in PvP and PvE.
smilie I don't have S2, but I hear that Typhoon Titan is way improved and much better now!

We just got Sprocket, Bouncer, and Warnado and here are the path choices on them.

Sprocket: Gearhead. My brother chose this because he is a big proponent of the tanks, the upgrade that really stole this path for him was being able to drop mines while drivingnthe tank.

Warnado: Eye of the storm. I chose this. It was a tough choice choosing whether to BE a powerful tornado or SUMMON a powerful tornado, but I liked the idea of being able to spam mini warnados and upgrading my primary shell spin attack.

Bouncer: I beam supreme. Pretty easy choice, similar to Eye of the storm the upgrade for the primary attack made this path take the cake. Those laser mines serve as quite the annoyance in PvP, and the I beam becomes a more useful weapon.

What do you guys think of these decisions?

My path decisions on the new skylanders

Giants:
smilie:Treefolk Charger
smilie:I-Beam Supreme
smilie:Rock Grinder
smilie:Barberous Avenger

New:
smilie:Ice Lancer
smilie:Barrier Boost
smilie:Best of the Beast
smilie:Sir Lance a lot

These are very good in my opinion so I recomend them.

Swarm and Jet Vac have about the same fire rate, but why do people act as if Jet Vac's extra 4 damage is not important in bird blaster , but they act as if swarms extras 5 is imporant in his barberous avenger path.

Pop Fizz: I prefer Mad Scietist because it is easier too control and more fun. All in is an underestimated power that gives him a great edge, just do three purple, three green, three orange in a row and you cause then 3 poisoned purple shooters, three explosions, and 1 sorry opponent.

I prefer Mad Scientist, it's more fun and is better for PvP (but not PvE).

The Beast form makes him move slowly and is short-ranged, what's even worse is that he still takes time to transform to and back which leaves him vulnerable. I also find it boring.

My videos shall better show what I mean (sorry for the bad audio):

Because Barbarous Avenger's other attacks actually do something in PVP, for one. Bird Blaster's other attacks provide no advantage in PVP; one is contingent on vacuuming up enemies, and the other is intended to pierce one foe and hit another. Swarm gets melee and ranged damage upgrades, for one, as well as contact damage on his wings.

What it amounts to isn't about just the numbers or the perks, though, it's about the superior style of offense. Swarm form is slow, unwieldy, and his best attacks are hard to hit. You're likely to find yourself flying around and using melee anyway, simply since it's more effective, so why not go with the path to augment that?

Anway I would like a second opinion best path for : lightning rod, zap, warnado, gill grunt, and sonic boom (all S2 except warnado obviously
) FOr Whirldwind I chose Cloud path is that correct?

S2 Lightning Rod is definitely better on Typhoon Titan, as his Wow Pow fixes the only problem the path ever had; a lack of any counter to ranged opponents.

Zap, we'll see. It sounds like his Wow Pow will benefit Tesla Dragon more, but that all remains to be seen.

Warnado, I strongly second Eye of the Storm. Wind Master is too one-dimensional to use effectively, even in Story.

Gill Grunt was born to be Water Weaver. Harpooner could've had the advantage if his Wow Pow were more damaging, but that is not the case. Infinite jetpack and hose stream are powerful weapons.

Sonic Boom is better off as Medea Griffon, simply because baby AI is way better this time. Siren Griffon can make an equally strong Superbaby, but Medea can have a Superbaby and four regular babies active at once for crazy minion-based offense. That, and her roar attack (non-charged) does identical damage on either path.

And yes, I do think you were correct in choosing Tempest Dragon.
EPICNESS2500 Green Sparx Gems: 137
#950 Posted: 22:28:03 31/12/2012
Lighning Rod... what you said explains his wow pow (range) after all it doesnt do much

Everyone makes sense except Sonic Boom im not sure AI seems to slow to keep up. And i dont see much a differnce between 1 super baby and 3 normal ones then 1 super baby and 4 babies. However screaming only gains if you hold
