So here's the situation: for Christmas, I got Lightcore . I don't want a LC, so I was going to trade him for a Series 2 so I can use it on both games. I've heard great things about and and I checked out their powers and upgrades. They both look awesome. I need help from people who have either or both of them. I want opinions. Who's better? or ?

You can actually use Lightcores in the first game. They will show up as a Series one. Same as the legendaries from Giants they will show up as a Series 1 figure.

I have neither but I suggest series 2 if you like wow pow, but no lights

The Wow Pow is way better than the lightcores. However, as I am a collector of them. I will end up buying them all!

I'm gonna stop you right there. You got given a gift and you were like "nope, don't want". Why not just keep the LC and then buy the S2 character? If you wanted to buy the S2 character to begin with, then it's not like you're loosing any extra money that you wouldn't have already spent in the first place.

The Wow Pow definitely makes for a better in-game character, no doubt about it. But LightCores are actually very cool toys, and if your Skylanders are going to get any of that type of play, why not keep them? The technology is really neat, and my son loves the LightCores. It's renewed my determination to buy them even if S2 are better, because there's more to the series than in-game superiority.

I agree with Tashiji. If you have it why not keep it. They are cool toys. That is what makes the Giants even cooler. I am really looking forward to Ninjini as to see how she lights up on the portal.

First of all, my parents got it for me, and they were considerate enough to keep the receipt so that if I didn't want that particular character, I could go and trade it for someone else. The idea was that I get a Skylander for Christmas, and I can pick the one I want; LC was just a placeholder.

Let me try this again. I want to get a S2. I can't pick between Prism Break or Drobot. Who should I get? (the question isn't whether I get a LC or a S2.)

S2 Drobot is not out yet. So unless you want to wait you are going to have to go with S2 Prism Break.

I don't have anything for Drobot as I am not sure of his Wow Pow. S2 Prism Break is you can send a pulse down the prism stream that you are shooting.

I have S1 Drobot, he's in the middle of the road for me.

Prizzy's wowpow is amazing. Makes hima n amazing skylander. He also has the beat figure in my collection.

Prism break^

I'd recommend sticking with Lightcore Prism Break, since he is a very well-made figure that works with all of the Skylander games (regardless of what the packaging says).

I'd recommend waiting for Series 2 Drobot, though, since his lighting isn't very impressive.

Drobot is more powerful in-game, but I personally think that Prism Break is more fun to play.

Pb is amazing on s2. Awesome wowpow, best figure, really fun, it goes on and on. The only thing he lacks is speed.

Drobot

If your wanting both but tight on cash then go for Drobot first, he seems to be harder to find, where LC Prism Break is still in abundance.

I got S2 yesterday. Thank you for helping me decide. This thread is officially useless.
