A miracle or an oversight. I mean, the guys who design these ads might just use stock images, and surely they have no way of knowing if the figure is out or not. Don't get hopes too high since there isn't even any production art out there yet, but it would be nice, wouldn't it?

I also think that they just used the image since there isn't any notice on the product for Part B of Wave 3.

I'm thinking its legit. A lot of us assumed we see a giant early jan and even more said thumpy would be first. It's possible it's just a stock image but target will get a lot of crap (especially employees) if he's not out. I find it weird since gs pushed ss pack back a week. I figured we'd have to wait til then for a new giant.

Looks like they just cut that Thumpback out of that ad where at the end shows you a range of skylanders, and Thumpy is in that exact posistion next to Hot Head ( I think).

Okay, so they show a picture so it's instantly out? Even if it is released, only so many will get him.

I'm not going to do the happy dance till I see a picture of him in a blister pack and not some generic stock image.

Could any Target employees who work in the stock room able to verify by weekend? Just an idea (and of course pics for proof).. If not no biggy.

I think they could. However, unless he is being released at Target as an exclusive for awhile I am going to bet that TRU would be the best place to check first. Target seems to lack in carrying stock of stuff.

Or......they completely knew what they were doing by putting his picture to get people to check it out.

The end of the week fast approaches. I believe we'd have seen one leaked to eBay by now if he were showing up on Sunday, especially from Target, a store known to just stick product on shelves as soon as it arrives.

I have a friend at the target I used to work at. He randomly txtd me today asking about skylanders. He's aware I'm a big fan and such but I hadn't mentioned this ad to him yet so it was weird. Was gonna stop by tonite but here we are. He's currently checking the back room for me because he got a bunch in this morning. We will see. They'd have to get them today cause target doesn't get shipments of skylanders on the weekend.

Also he's aware I need a pic if he finds anything.

I think Thumpback will be last wave. EyeBrawl and Ninjini are already on Taobao. If Thumpback was coming out, he would already be on Taobao. Maybe Wave 3.5 with EyeBrawl and wave 4 with Ninjini
