Wow, I don't know what to say about this. She is new member to Ebay. The only one who has it up. However, has no pictures of it other than what appears to be a stock picture. I wonder if she could take a picture that could prove it is real.

Bottom line, if it says "in hand" but there are no actual pics of the item and they use stock pics, then one should assume it's not legit.

We will have to ask her huh?

Notice that it says estimated to receive between Jan. 5 and Jan. 9
So, it could be a lie, and she could be just hopeful that Eye Brawl WILL come out like the employee said to you ZapNorris, or she might know it does. If she knows, she will get one the first day and ship it as soon as she gets it. She might have only said it is "IN HAND" to get people to bid on it...

Anyways.. Something smells all sorts of fishy on this one. I would need a picture of it showing that it was taken by the seller. Maybe, have her write something on a paper that shows it is legit.

^This!!! Take a pic with their ebay username on the item. Honestly, it's the best way to put pics on ebay to prevent others from using them.

I don't believe it. If it was truly in hand, an actual picture would be provided.

I don't usually like to call out workers or what not in this case, but it does make sense. If what that one person was told is true, then they may know a gamestop worker who is thinking they will be their on the 1st and she can mail it out on the second.

That sounds about right. I have heard rumors that Game Stops have the new Giants in stock and can't sell them until the 9th. So the plot thickens huh?

Something smells fishy. They are a new memeber of ebay (one reason to be weary) another is, they are using a stock photo of artwork for the picture.
I'd be careful.

It pays to be patient, you could find them in stores I'm sure once its released. (Well...maybe)

No one is freaking out.. we are just maybe a little more excited as IF it is true that means they are coming out soon.

Didn't fool me. First post about it. So, I don't think it is making anyone look like a fool.

I think it is a perfectly fine thing to make a post about. Not everyone on this site would see that and think it is a scam. Some people would hop right on that and bid.

Not everyone is going to see that as being false. It is a sad situation but, we have people on here that are gullible. You remember the wicked thumpback that was exclusive to Michigan? People thought that was real for a time. Posting things like this might help someone from bidding on it. One last point and we can carry on with the night. No one makes you or anyone else post in a topic if you think it is dumb, move on.

Anyways, I am still waiting to hear back from the seller to see if they have an actual picture of it in the packaging.

If you look at her items 2 days before Christmas, they show "Pre-Order"

In my opinion, almost certainly a scammer or at minimum someone that is going off information they heard and hoping it comes through. They created a burner seller ID in order to catch someone that has more money than sense. Emails questioning it, or asking for proof will be ignored - there are plenty of more gullible people out there, although I do notice there haven't been any bids yet, so that is good.

- Claims she has in hand an item that isn't out yet.
- No other auctions for the item in hand.
- Brand new seller ID with no feedback.
- No pictures other than stock images.
- Massive markup in starting price.
- References how fishy it looks and tries to assure people it is valid.

Apparently, she got a letter from Acti telling her that she can't sell them yet.

I would think that the ones she sold on the 15th would have given her bad feedback by now. Since she garranteed then before Christmas.

I see that the seller has ended the sale. I did actually hear back from her this morning. I sent her my email address to send me a pic, but I am still waiting to hear back.

Well they say if it sounds to good to be true then it always is huh? Oh well they will be out soon enough we can wait for it right?

Yeah, my guess is she may have got a nastygram from acti or someone called her bluff and she ended the sale.
