Well, of course we get everything first, it's an American game published by an American company for an American market. I don't complain that Japan gets Final Fantasy first, because clearly our Final Fantasy is a ported version of a game designed with a different market in mind. So, really, I think their efforts in Europe and Australia have been awesome, and in Canada, absolutely exemplary. The fact that you're getting figures even close to when we do should be something to get excited over, not curse at them for. I wish we all got the figures simultaneously as well, but let's be frank here; anywhere but North America (because Canada usually gets equal distribution; some things early) is a secondary market for them.

Yep..

There is really no reason to make an entirely new topic for this point. There's an existing one which this is already in.

Ok, here's the issue:

That quote is from the topic about people complaining about not getting Thumpback/Ninjini in wave 3. The whole idea behind that topic wasn't "be lucky you get wave 3 first!" the idea was "you're complaining about not getting certain characters, we'll have to wait even longer to get characters you already have and you don't hear us complaining". The reason the topic was made wasn't because people outside the US were complaining, it was because people inside the US are complaining about the pettiest of little things.

Also, that quote isn't really all that accurate. It implies that the reason any country outside NA gets Skylanders later is because they have to be 'ported' like how Final Fantasy is ported into English before it's release outside of Japan; which obviously isn't the case. They have the figures available, they just choose not to release them at the same time.

It also mentions how anywhere outside NA is a secondary market, despite the fact that they originally shipped more of wave 1 to the UK alone than they did the whole of America - which they wouldn't do if they thought it was a secondary market. Activision, along with many other publishers, are in the process of switching Europe to it's primary market and have been doing so for the last two years or so.
