So, I don't mean to sound selfish, but I asked for the Battlegrounds Starter Pack for Christmas. I think I got the Giants Starter Pack. I already had S:SA, so I was saving up myself for the Portal Owner's Pack. I don't want the extra Cynder and Jet-Vac since they come in the Baattlegrounds Starter Pack. What should I do if I get the Giants Starter Pack? I don't want to be rude by returning it. Should I?

The starter pack is not all that bad. Even though it comes with Jet-Vac and Cynder the portal in the starter pack is a lot better than the one from S:SA. Saves a ton in batteries. The new lightcores I hear chew batteries. I would just either keep the extras, give to someone who doesn't have them or you can always throw them up on ebay and make a few bucks.

Try to sell on ebay. Cynder sells for about $5 and jet vac can go for around $12.50

Just in case you are worried about people on here saying something about selling stuff on ebay. Most people including myself, get angry when people buy rare figures just do sell on Ebay and put them up for insane prices. In your case putting them up for a reasonable price is not a big deal at all.

I would personally keep it and buy the battlegrounds with my own money since you said you were saving for the Portal owners pack. Aren't they around the same price? Portal owners packs are $59.99 and battlegrounds is either $49.99 or $59.99. I think you actually make out better off if you did accidentally get the Giants starter pack as you get a better portal and two extra figs.

P.S. Battlegrounds and the giants starter pack have the exact same box size so if you're just going off box sizes you could have very well gotten battlegrounds.

Battleground pack is actually cheaper than the Giants pack, so you'd be able to get that just fine.

This is very easy. First off, take what you get.

If you get the Giants Starter Pack, take it. Take the money you were saving for the Portal Owners Pack and use it to get Battleground (at Gamestop for Royal Double Trouble), which is actually 10 dollars cheaper than if you bought the Portal Owners Pack, AND you get 2 free figures to boot (Jet-Vac and Cynder).

Now then, if you really wanted, sell an extra Cynder and Jet-Vac for 5 and 10 bucks, and it makes the Battlegrounds you bought, 34.99.
