Ok so there are no giants in wave 3 correct? cause the lady needed a bunch of help and she was like, hey is uh... something like ninja geinie out? at first i was like what? and realized she meant ninjini, i told her that she had not came out yet, she was christmas shopping for her son, i just wanted to confirm tht no giants are in wave 3, because i dont want to ruin a kids christmas...

Well Zap at least there's one good thing to look forward to. Did you notice in the videos that is actually quite fast when he walks and his punches lunge him forward just a bit. I'm glad to see he isn't slow like Crusher or Bouncer I mean Bouncer really needs a speed move. Everyone else has some way of moving faster, but he doesn't.

In fact most of Bouncer's moves actually slow him down more than ever. His rockets can make him hold still, holding the finger bullets make him move slower and his I-beams are probably the only way he even gains the least bit of speed, but not by much and worse of all, he only has that one single tiny wheel that helps him move so he's very slow because of that. It's too bad he couldn't have some kind of bounce technique that hurts enemies I mean his name is Bouncer and he doesn't bounce? His waist looks like a spring and if Bash can jump with his wow pow and Terrafin can jump up for his belly flop, then Bouncer could have had a bounce attack.

LOL!! I thought that about Bouncer too!!! I mean, Crusher crushes, why doesn't Bouncer bounce?? He doesn't really live up to his name too well!!

Ah well...looks like my question about wave 3 was overlooked during the discussion on female skylanders...
I called again today after having the odd conversation before (refer to page 131 post 6528 of this thread) about a supposed "wave 3 a" and "wave 3 b" coming to TRU. Same guy as last time. He said they hadn't gotten anything new, and they didn't know when this "second part of wave 3" was coming out.....do you think he's accurate here, or is he misinformed? I mean, we had someone telling us their sister at gamestop got a fellow employee (likely the manager) to check boxes and found a big blue guy (not sure on exact wording). Of course, since Gill Grunt himself is a blue fish type, this cound be the one they were referring to. I've noticed that quite a few emloyees at the "official skylanders stores" don't really know one from another....could we end up seeing more releases after christmas or the new year for wave 3? Or do you think what we've seen is the whole wave?

I'll bet 25 internets that there will be a "wave 3.5". I mean they didn't even ship out more of the already released giants during the last week. Seems off. I've thought that might be why gs pushed the battle pack back, cause everyone is getting 3.5 then so it'd make more sense. Honestly noone knows tho lol

You might be on to something there TheLurk. Why would Gamestop get only the Battle pack on Jan 9? They could get some giants with that and then that would explain the missing giant's whereabouts. Sorry for that I did read what you said and it is possible. I'd say we wait and see what happens because personally, they should get more than just the battle pack on the 9th. The other thing is that Zookinator's sister said she saw a big blue shark guy when checking the giants so that has to be Thumpback and hoplefully Eye Brawl will be there too.

It's been so hard finding real evidence of anything....like activision is trying to build up hype or something, so who knows? And with all the employees we've heard say so many contradictory things, it's chaos! (or....Kaos? *holds pinky up to side of mouth) I'd love it if it was actually Thumpy in those boxes, but....with all the confusion, is it possible they saw a Gill Grunt and mistook him for a shark??

Doubtful. I mean Gil is clearly a murloc. Unless (no offense intended its more of a joke) the sister see anything with fins and goes "Ermagerd sherk!"

I'm still going to hope for very soon because Shroomboom wasn't release alone he was with wave 1 and I still think it's weird that Hot Dog and Zap was pushed to Jan. 9 and there still no giant so I'm only assuming that Gamestop must be planning to get new giants along with Hot Dog in order to get more business after all there was those rare cases from the first game when Gamestop got Skylanders before anyone else. But again, I'm only assuming and this could explain that one Ebayer stating that he will assure that Eye Brawl will be out no later than January 15.

Well, I can't tell you how many times I've asked employees about skylanders figs, both when SSA came out and SG who simply didn't know one from another....you can tell them the purple winged one for wave 3 and they'd give you cynder series1, flashwing, spyro series 1, dark spyro in the 3ds box.....I mean seriously, they don't always bother to read the box itself and go by anything they think works...and then this is assuming they didn't just get on shift and miss the start of the day releases and subsequent out of stock....

Oh! I just remembered something! You know TRU has been getting huge stocks of Skylanders? And they're not really marked except with that release date? What if they have some of the newest stuff stuck in their warehouse? Would be funny and sad at the same time if GS gets those before TRU simply because they had too many boxes to fit them in.

Me too. I mean I'm gonna "catch em all" regardless but eye brawl is my last MUST HAVE NOW skylander. Everything else is whenever I get to it. Tho I will admit the battle pack is almost a big deal cause I pvp with the wife (well we did on ssa so I imagine we will once I open my gnarly bundle Tuesday and beyond) and she insists on more arenas to fight in. Was the only reason I picked up the first battle pack was once I knew I was getting giants and I wanted as many areas to battle with her.

The couple that battles together...;P Yeah there's the whole Pokemon element in this. My bf actually is trying to mooch my skylanders for his collection, so he can get the best bonuses for having ___ number of ___ element. He doesn't see the point of getting reposes. Maaaaan I'll be glad when the holidays are behind us what with all the stress! This collecting and speculating is taking some of the fun out of it. At least, all the false rumors are...getting more skylanders is nice, but sitting on the edge of your seat wondering "when?" isnt. *yawn* I'm gonna go back to crocheting presents. went to toys r us 2 of em i found 1 series 2 prism break but no sighn of lc shroomboom went the 2nd one they had all wave 3 series 2 exept lc shroomboom

Most likely meant the Scorpion Striker and/or a future Giant.


EDIT: There was supposed to be a level called "Slippery Tunnel", but it was removed!

Somebody should make a video where it shows every skylanders moment where the are place on the portal...

Didn't they say there would only be 4 waves anyway so that would fit in every way.
Lots of in-game variants so a wave would do nicely for them.

I believe at least one giant will e released the same time as ss. They just don't have proof when they act like they do.

I'm also skeptical of a variant wave. They are gonna be exclusives somewhere somehow. The same time maybe but all by themselves and or everywhere seems unlikely. Retailers pay big bucks for exclusives like that.

Just because they sell it, doesn't mean they can't get in trouble. I mean I can get in trouble for discussing stuff from my work with my wife, but I still do it.

Also, he says that he would rather see it go to someone who would enjoy it. Why is he trying to sell it for 400.00? I mean 40-50 okay but if you want someone to enjoy it don't do what he is doing.
