Ok this isn't a (Create your own skylander) contest or what ever.

Now As we all know Skylanders is the next generation of spyro games. Rather we like it or not. Right now we have two known spyro characters in the current games. Spyro and Cynder. (unless you count the sheep and Sparks). So the question is what other Known spyro characters do you think they'll had to Skylanders. Which ones have they hinted about. And which ones are in it and I just don't know yet.

I think they threw spyro in there to "kick start" the game. Now that's its become so popular they will either put in loads of spyro characters, or dump spyro altogether.

I doubt they dump spyro. Through I do believe they'll make him less and less as the main character in a way. Because in the first game not only was his name in the title but it the books and things he was for the most part the main character. Curious though Bianca and Hunter, will they become skylanders or non-playerable characters like flynn and Hugo? (That's if they add them.)

Well, Activision owns the rights to Spyro as of now. It depends on if whatever deal they got if we'll see any real old guys, like Sheila and Agent 9. They really could have simply used Moneybags, but he was replaced by a doppelganger which seems to me to be an indication that not all of the old characters were included in the deal. (But maybe not. I dunno lol)

Hunter would probably be the nearest one to join Skylanders, since he appeared in the Legend series. I just hope they return him to a more cartoony look.

Activision also owns the Crash Bandicoot franchise so....Why not Crash too?

It'd be interesting for Crash to join them. Though i wonder would they come up with a new background story like Cynder (As in making it that he's from skylands) or will they do like Spyro and make it that he's from another dimension/place and he gets transported to skylands.

As for Hunter I kind liked him in LoS more. (As in his looks) maybe they could make a new version of him or even a cross between the two?

I'd hate a game about Crash in Skylanders. If they just made him a character in a new game, I wouldn't mind.

I also agree WUMBOSIMPSON. I also think that Maelfor may be in a future Skylanders Game because of the impact he has on the Undead Element

I don't mind crash, he works well with spyro. Skylanders: Crash Banicoot's Adventure

They seem to have similar characters in Skylanders to compliment the Spyro originals, like Moneybags being replaced with Auric (they even look somewhat alike), so I'm guessing if they do add any Spyro-esque characters they would be "knock-offs" so to speak, or "inspired" by Spyro original characters more than anything... I would agree with BakonBitz that Spyro was used more to jump start the Skylanders game than anything...

Milton has a good point about Malefor too... he would largely play into the undead element and could show up in the game as a character, but most likely not a playable figurine like Spyro and Cynder... they do mention him in Skylanders by explaining Cynder's history with him in the LoS games, so maybe he'd come back as a villain??

As far as Crash Bandicoot in Skylanders, that will be the day I STOP PLAYING completely!!! lol I am sooo not a fan of Crash... although I know many on here are; to each their own...!! I personally would not invest another penny is this franchise from that point on!! lol I agree with Wumbo that they should just make a new game with Crash if they're looking to revive another old franchise, I'm sure there would be a large fanbase for a Crash Universe or something similar!!

Malefor's story in Skylanders is similar to his LoS counterpart, they're not the same character.

While the Malefor in the LoS is an evil purple dragon, in the Skylanders universe, Malefor is the Undead Dragon King of the underworld, and TFB made Cynder's backstory similar to her LoS counterpart with her being stolen as an egg and corrupted by the undead powers of Malefor, then freed by Spyro.

It would be interesting to see Skylanders Malefor in a future Skylanders installment, perhaps more intimidating than Vathek.

Yes, it's been clearly established that this an alternate universe of sorts to those of the other two series of games. I guess it just made it easier for TFB to develop all of the backstories (and boy are their many) and create the Skylanders universe. Because otherwise, we'd be stuck with the gaping plothole of "where the heck were all these heroes when Malefor tried to destroy the world?" And also: "Why is the world nothing but floating islands when Spyro pulled it all back together in the ending to the Legend trilogy? <.<

Som of the older Characters in the Spyro's series have a lot of potential, even if not for playable material, take Ripto for an example, he hated dragons, a lot, so, if he came back, that would mea he would try something against the dragons, and it would even allow some backstory of all the dragons, and maybe Malefor himself, considering he's the strongest Undead Dragon around

I'd like to see them finally make that tarclops. Would love to play as him

He was a concept character of a Skylander you already know, Pyro, much like Sun Dragon, but was scrapped during development. Unlikely to happen.

They should add some characters like the guardians from TLoS as NPCs and mabye some classic characters like Hunter or Elora.

^ Because is not a proper Spyro character. He has his own series.
