My 5yr old daughter just lost her first tooth.
She wanted something "creepy" from the tooth fairy which she knows is me.
At first she said, "but no bones," then she changed her mind and said, "bones are okay."
I had the perfect plan: Fright Rider.
She was so excited and called me at work to say thank you.
Then her 2yr old sister threw it down the stairs and the brittle leg Fright stands on snapped in two.
Super-glue I had on hand was no match for this smooth plastic. A band-aid wrap is helping him stand up pretty well so it's not so bad.
Just wondered if anyone else suffered from the brittle leg breaking. Not recommended for staircase dives.
Thanks

I remember someone saying that when they were taking Bouncer out of the packaging (which is pretty hard), that it's torso snapped in half.

If you call Activision, and take a picture of it they might send you a new one.

Yeah, my Chill did not want to leave her package. I got her out without breaking her, but it was still tough.

Nope. If you just file a claim on Activisions support page, they will mail you a new one. No proof or return of the broken figure necessary.

^ If you try to do this to mooch free figures off of them, you can get in a LOT of trouble.
Not to mention that if you ask for a character that isn't out yet, the punishment will be worse.

Yeah best thing to do is to get on Activision's assist thing and just get a new one. They come out in a few weeks so it's not too bad.
So far with the Giants line of figures, it seems the plastic holding them in is a lot more...I guess "tight" is what I'd call it. The figures in all the groups are hard to get out of the package in general (as in, regulars, giants and LCs) plus the cards/sticker is in that little clip thing pretty good too. It's hard some times to not bend up the card.

I tried to do this with my Sonic Boom, it was given me the broken figure message. I called and they had me take a picture of it with a number they gave me to show proof. I find it is quicker if you call, otherwise your claim can just sit in the processing stage. On a side note, people who try to scam Activision on this just make it harder for other people. I'm not going to start a rant on this so I will leave it at that. |

Sorta unrelated to the topic, Brittle Fright Rider sound like a good idea for a variant..
