It is a bit odd that the 9th is a Wednesday. Moving to the 8th would seem more likely since that is a Tuesday. I am sure they have a method behind the madness.

Um, gamestop website still says 1/1/13

Take a look at the link I posted. It says 1/9/13. Which both dates are kind of odd. One is a holiday. Other is a Wednesday.

It's discussed in the giants info sticky. Item link still says 1st. That's the only ad to change so far.

I'm going to play it safe and say the 9th is the day it will be released. Sometimes the gamestop website is a little slow.
