Not an animal, but I've always thought a cupid-like skylander would be cool and different (I know, I know 'Flameslinger' is already the guy with arrows).

I'd say a valkyrie, but they already gave us Chill for that. Maybe an Anubis-style Undead, since they did Zeus.

For some reason twilight comes into mind...

I've seen one before and I just think they will fit into this
Wolf (life, tech, undead)
Maybe a wolf for life, bionic robot wolf for tech, and a skeletal wolf for undead
Owl (magic)
Owls.... Very wise animals they are
Spider (undead)
A enemy spider that turned not a good guy smilie
Sea serpent (water)
Would zap be considered this?
Sea turtle (water)
Floating in the air sea turtle
Orca (water)
Killer whale adds a nice ring to it
cheeta (air)
Super speedy
Tiger (fire)
Hedgehog (life)
A hedgehog of spiky brambles
Vultur (undead, or earth)
Horse (earth)

That's all I can come up with, I really like the. Idea of a bionic wolf

Lol, when i was 5-8 i loooovveed reptiles. I bought myself some HUGE animal books, and there were like, 5,000 animals in each one. I read them through, over and over, and now i still remember most of them.

Lions with fiery mane aren't new, I'm pretty sure everyone has thought of that one. But one for skylanders (which the person most likely meant, not as in a completely new idea of a creature no one has thought of before) would be pretty awesome, except it might be too similar to Hot dog.
