FLOCKED POLAR PRISM BREAK!

Real or a highly informed and very talented custom painter who is aware of the Prism Break variant being released this wave. I had assumed it would be the S2 one, but I guess the variant ships in the LightCore package. Interesting.

A member of TFB confimred it. It is real.

Tashiji is aware of this - hence his point about if the item is not real, then the counterfeiter had inside info.

Hey again -
Just wanted to follow up and let you know that we don't have any actual legally approved names for the different new variants, but around the office we are referring to them as Sparkle, Stone, and Snow. But if you want to throw out new ideas for what you refer to them as, that would be great.

Thanks....that helps a lot.....how many snow variants will there be? Or is this decided secretly, behind closed doors, by the secret variant society (SVS) ?

Probably 2 or 3 is my guess.

I like the term Snow for it. Although Winter Break is cool for Prism Break. He was an excellent choice for the variant, he looks like a Yeti, with ice crystals for hands. It is a shame they couldn't include blue lights instead of the normal green. That would have made him really nice.

I hope they didn't choose a Fire for one of the others, it just wouldn't go. Snow Eruptor? How would that work? Now a Snow Slam Bam on the other hand ...

And, btw, I really like that they didn't cover the eyes. The previous ones had kind of an "unfinished" look to them in one color. I have never found a chase variant, as far as I remember - but if I had before I knew what they were, I probably would have passed it over as an unintentional manufacturing defect. IMHO, I think they need to be similar to Amazon Flameslinger - solid color for the figure (except maybe the eyes), but leave the base the standard colors.

Frosted would be the best name for it.

LOL! Looks like ALL variant collectors - unless someone from TFB sells one of those on Ebay - cannot own all variants now. Looks like those of us collecting variants will always be missing 1.

They will eventually sell at least 1 of them online. It would also be epic if he looked like that in game.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a in-game variant, that kind of sticker has only been on non in-game variants.

Also woulda been in the code. It's not really part of the toy line. It's a gift for tfb employees. Something special just for them. I doubt we will see many (if any) on eBay. If I were them tho I'd do ONE as some sort of promo. Not just "enter here to win" but like one where you tell your favorite skylanders story or the best idea for a new skylander.

Glad I'm not in the variant game. That employee only one is going to drive a lot of people quite crazy.

Well to be fair, companies actually do this all the time, especially toy companies.
This is just one of the few where we actually get to see a special figure made for employees.

I think that one is actually pretty neat though. I hope one employee hangs it on their tree for Christmas haha

I wouldn't say it's impossible. I can definitely see TFB / Activision listing one. When Beanie Babies were popular they had employee only ones and they wounded up on ebay, so I can see this eventually appearing on the secondary market.

Exactly. Many employees may not care about Skylanders at all - to them, it's a cheap Holiday Bonus that they can give out to their employees that they can probably turn around and sell for $50 or more.

(As long as there aren't any less-scrupulous manager-types that hoard a bunch of them as eBay fodder, it's all good.)

Still none on Ebay yet, and the employees already have them. I am really thinking not many will be listed.

Someone in the town next to mine must have found one of these as he has it on craigslist for $250 or for trade. Bummed it must have been so close. The guy selling it wouldnt tell me what store he picked it up from.
