I work at KMart, but in the jewelery department so i don't really get that much info. Me and a coworker were checking the email, and we received one from activision. It stated that we should keep atleast half of a storage rack thingy (don't remember the exact name) for giants until September, as apparently they are slowly going to release them until late summer 2013. So...That sucks :/

Well, if you think about it, that's exactly what was planned with S:SA.

- All the in-game variants have to be released (Jade Flashwing, Scarlet Ninjini, etc)
- I'm going to guess 2 more waves (seeing as how wave 3 is so small)
- Triple packs haven't been announced/released
- Giants Sidekicks

And I still haven't seen Wham-Shell single on the shelf. Only the carrying case that includes him.
So it's no surprise that they'll milk it up until the next Toy Fare or E3.

I just picked up two wham shells ar TRU.

So did a buddy of mine. About a week ago.
Of course it was after I had paid for the case that they showed up. But I still haven't walked into a store and seen them on the shelf.
At least I got the case for only $17, so I don't feel too bad.

Hothead was hard to find cause fritolay had em all for free. At least that's the best explanation. I get 2 whenever they ship. One for me one for my sis.

Hothead was only really rare because the initial shipment of Wave 2 were really small, since then he comes in stock all the time - you can get him online all over the place. Perceived rarity turns into demand which turns into real rarity. Take a look at Boomer. Last year there were shelves of Boomer, Drobot and L Trigger Happy. They couldn't give him away. Some people got a dozen of him from Frito-Lay. And now no one can find him, and if they do he gets scooped up immediately.
