I would like the idea, but there would still be NO SKYLANDERS ON THE SHELF.

So then, we would have to go to Amazon and pay for shipping, then wait a week until a Skylander arrives, instead of just picking it up at the store (getting Wave 3 for December 25th?)

Also, Skyscalpers sounds like the term for the bad guys. Like, they scalp Skylanders. We should be called... The Skysavers! (Save them from being scalped by bad guys)

lawlz, no. i like going to the store to buy skylanders.

It was a new idea, i didnt have time to flesh out every kink in the system , maybe we could buy all the skylanders in a store (that are very scalpable) and set up a stand like 10 yards in front of another store, and sell them to kids who are desperately looking for them. Or we could do "scalvage" missions and look for short-packed characters to sell. for example for a specific mission we would buy boxes of whammies and sell them to kids. just a thought.

yes and variant skylanders will have a deal were buy one normal get the variant three dollars off

You do realize the irony of this though, right? Buying them all up and reselling them isn't any better than someone else buying them all up and reselling them. Anyone in your area who may be a regular kid or collector would be out of luck because someone bought them all up.

And even if you did end up reselling them on amazon or whatever, you'd 1) Lose more money than you'd put into it because of shipping costs and 2) nothing is stopping a scalper from having an even easier time of buying new or special figures and then reselling them.

You could have at least read my newer post, i kinda said i didnt think much into it. people already pointed out the faults and i did say it wasn't a good idea. READ MOAR INB4 COMPLAIN.

Sorry for the double post, but this has nothing to do with my previous point.
I think the scalpers are really stupid, is anyone ever gonna buy a figure that costs around 10 bucks for nearly 5-15 times the normal price? and if some psycho that really thinks a $10 figure dipped in a solid $5 paint is worth a couple thousand exists, then i dont see how this world's economy hasn't collapsed completely yet.
And for people that sell over priced things in big amounts, i dont see why they dont just make them separate items. if someone wants to buy all of them, find all of them.
if someone DOESNT want all of them, then find the ones you want and shove out your wallet.

I say that SparCrux's heart was in the right place and he was only suggesting a possibility for a better future where everyone can be happy with what they wand and find what they want without those horrible scalpers willing to pull the strings of sad desperate little kids who will do anything to get their favorite Skylanders and I see where he's going. People today seem to care so much about money that they will be willing to even ruin Christmas for kids by bugging their parents to pay high prices on Skylanders and rip them off. This is considered the greatest fear of what Christmas could become, a time where people forget to be thankful and being rude and greedy. This is what scalpers could do to this holiday.

Would hurt their own sales. Think of families with multiple kids who don't wanna share. Someone buying for their kid and a niece or nephew. Me buying for myself and on occasion my sis at the same time. I don't live at home so it's not like we could share plus we enjoy pvp of the same character. Other than first release days and other rare occasions it wouldn't be fair to the rest of us. I'd rather let the scalpers try to make a buck and stupid people pay their prices than me not being able to purchase as I like.

Thanks, i completely agree. i found a couple hot heads yesterday and i wanted to snatch em. i felt horrible as soon as i picked up the second one, i just left it there hoping some kids get to increase their collections.

No, it is white with glitter that look just like the flocked material.

Perhaps it'll be from fritolay like stumpy was and this is an employee that got one early. Still think it shoulda been an ingame variant. I would've ranked it in a very close second to my beloved punchy.

I found this on the support.activision.com site. It shows that Activision plans on stretching out the release new skylanders toys through the summer of 2013. Looks like it was just posted today.
