So, I'm really wanting to finish off my series one collection before making the jump to Giants. But the problem with that is most of the Skylanders I am missing are very hard to come by, including the legendary's and Dark Spyro. But seeing as how hard this task is, I might just need to get started on Giants before I fall too far behind...

Lets see

Toys r us usually has 3 packs with Boomer, Prisim Break, Camo and Warnado.
Also, this is strange. Th ePlace I most see Zook and Lightning rod is walgreens : P

Where I live the two closest places that I keep up with on a regular basis are Walmart and Gamestop, not counting Toys r us's website, and ebay. But recently all I have seen is the Lightning Rod trip pack at Walmart or high prices from scalpers online.

I am pretty sure my TRU still has 3 packs of Camo, Warnado and Ignitor... would you want to pay at cost plus shipping for it, I could buy it for you if you'd want!! Let me know asap on here or via PM if you're interested!!

The trip pack with Boomer would be nice since that would take care of three Skylanders at once.

Im also looking for the special variants but I am not as hard pressed on them atm seeing as how they arent actually different characters in the game. I already have the red Drill Sargeant, and the gitd Sonic Boom.

That would be the two most hard to come by atm, Dark Spyro, and Wham Shell. I really want to stay as close to twenty bucks a piece as I can.

Oh! And the Side Kicks lol!!! I didn't even hear about them until two days before the promo ended >.< lol. I would love to get my hands on them without having to dish out over fourty bucks a pop.

aaah okay... sadly I don't have any extras of those and haven't seen Whammy at my TRU since Black Friday.... I got my Dark Spyro off eBay when it came out since I didn't have a 3DS back then and [still] don't have the 3DS Spyro's Adventure (which is the only way to get Dark Spyro in the US)...

I think I paid around $15 for Dark Spyro after shipping which was a pretty good deal... I had been watching them on eBay for a while before I found/bought that one!! Good luck, and I'll let you know if I happen to come across a Whammy anytime soon!!

Thanks I have been looking on ebay as well but here lately most Dark Spyro's run for about thirty to thirty five.

You could wait for the 3DS game to go on sale, it'll prolly drop the whole set down to $30-40 after Christmas... I'm looking for the S:SA game and portal for 3DS but haven't had any good deals on eBay yet... been looking since Black Friday-ish so I'm playing the waiting game for it too... lol

I have been thinking of doing that as well. Also getting the Battle Grounds pack at Gamestop to get the special Double Trouble. Seeing as how he alone is going for $45 on ebay :/

Yeah, I bought it for the Royal Double Trouble too... I sold the game code, portal and other figures on eBay and made most of my money back, so it wasn't too bad... I also bought a second one to send to a friend in Australia because the US got them earlier than Aus... I think Royal DT is better than the original, his purple glowing is pretty cool!

I don't see why he is a model of series 1 and his base is series 2... But Double Trouble is by far my favorite Skylander

Yeah, I found that to be pretty odd as well!!! lol It's a mystery!! I don't normally use Double Trouble... but I do use Sonic Boom a lot who also has those little mini-me's that jump out and fight!! lol

I found Double Troubles first path to be far better than his exploding clones path. Especially seeing as how he can use his bombs three times in a row, dealing 65 damage a hit.

Im having a similar problem, but mine is a little different. I got into skylanders when goants came out, but want to collect all the series one. Are warnado, camo, ignitor triple packs common at TRU since Black Friday? Bought Ignitor off eBay for $8.50 so if I get that pack I gotta sell him I am also looking for Boomer and Whammy. All other I can probably get off Amazon for cheap. I don't want legendaries or dark spyro just the different characters.

My local TRU express has a lot of these.. this is where my crystal stealth elf came from.. I don't think many shop there. If anyone is needing any I will look and buy if your wanting to pay cost and shipping.. I am not looking to make money

Wow...Boomer is that hard to find?
I had about a dozen each of him and Wrecking Ball this summer after the first Frito-Lay contest.

I'm trying to get rid of my son's Series 1 collection for 200. I posted it on the Skylanders Facebook page, but no one has taken me up on my offer yet, which is 200 plus 30 shipping via UPS.

I even posted pics for them.



I mean, it's missing the cards and stickers for each character, but each Skylander has been well taken care of, since I have been the one to handle his Skylanders for him, so they wouldn't get damaged. It's missing the Starter Pack characters and Sonic Boom.

Still, though, 200 bucks for 33 Skylanders, 8 Magical Items and 4 Location Items is like getting each Skylander for 6.06 and the Magical Items and Location Items are free. I just can't believe someone hasn't taken me up on that offer. I am even throwing the Stanley Sortmaster Jr. cases in for free. I guess everyone on the Skylanders Facebook page already has all of the Series 1 Skylanders... even Dark Spyro, which is still only in the 3DS pack here in the states.

I can check for Prism Break, think I saw one last week.

@9.99 that comes to 12.49 for 2 characters then add what in my state is a 0.086 sales tax and you end up paying roughly 13.56 for 2 or 6.78 each.

Then we take into account for the availability in stores and that the chances of a complete series one will be in stock and the headache ove making sure you don't buy duplicates and it nakes me wish I saw this before I started collecting these things!

GameMaster78, I know that going through eBay is all kinds of terrible. I hate selling stuff on there knowing that anybody can file a complaint and you are pretty much going to lose, but you should be able to get someone to bite on that easily. I would probably change the auction to $250 Buy It Now with free shipping as people seem to pay more for things with free shipping. It must be psychological. I sold the 24 series 1 characters that got reposed with no stickers and no cards for $125 and they sold in less than 6 hours.

You have an almost complete set including legendaries, dark spyro, and the cases. I bet you could even do $300 Buy It Now and probably get a taker.

Where I live, I see S:SA packs CHEAP and they are EVERYWHERE! But if you only want Dark then....
I see Wham Shell EVERY TIME I go to TRU, I WISH I COULD FIND ZAP for my friend, see Camo, Warnado, Ignitor pack at TRU CONSTANTLY, see LR not very often but every once in a while, see ALL the Adventure Packs all the time, NEVER see Boomer (Anymore), See Prism Break a lot, and almost never see Dino Rang but he is starting to show up more. I would be happy to help!
