I asked my guy at Gamestop this morning if he knew anything about when wave 3 or the battle pack would be coming in. He told me even if they get the pack early they are not releasing them until the first. They have been given a strict street date on that. No clue on the rest though.

Dec 23rd.


Close friend of mine works at TRU. She got wave 3 single figures in including Lightning Rod, Cynder, Eruptor. No lightcores yet or giants. The are released on the 23rd as per street date

We all knew this and there are already ten topics about this. This topic isn't helping anyone, it's just clogging up the forum and it should be closed.

The Undead Element is already overpowered enough with Hex's and Chop Chop's Wow Pow, we don't need another member of the Element to be overpower, and considering it was a porting Error, it was never supposed to be, instead of spamming the same attack over and over, try to develop a strategy with him during battles, that usually works... Lets be real. We're about to have 30 of these topics spring up. In my own attempt at stopping clogging the boards I decided to make this. Post your quote of when you predicted what will happen. There's already proof of some things. Here's what we know for sure,

W3 will be out before Xmas.
Lc shroomy is part of w3.
Hotdog is in the battle pack that comes out jan 1st only at GameStop. A timed exclusive for 30 days.

Here's hoping this will be the only thread of such nature. I myself shall no be participating.

They don't have it on the shelves, but when i asked about preordering it the manager pulled it out from the back and asked if it was what i was talking about.

I think a lot of people are going to go to TRU (those who don't know what Wave 3 has) and be disappointed when they see no Newlander is being released. It's all figures that have been released previously. Sure, I guess one could count LC Shroomboom, but for the past 2 times I've been to 2 TRU's, I've seen tons of LC Jet-Vacs, which leads me to believe people are shrugging off Lightcores like they do Series 2.

Exactly. I will say this, also. Toysrus.com will most likely put up Series 2 wave 3 figures soon as well.

Just noticed Walmart has thrown up a preorder for S2 Cynder. Says it will ship on 12/31.

Why would they? Most people who want those characters already have an orange-based character for all four of those characters. A Wow-Pow really isn't enough incentive to double-dip if you already have the Lightcore or Legendary version.

And remember the golden rule of eBay - 99.99% of the world may be smart enough to not purchase what you're offering at overinflated prices, but all you need to do is find ONE person willing to do so and you've won.

In a world with common sense, I wouldn't see normal Tree Rexes occasionally selling for $20+.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to pick up Wave 3 at some other store before Sunday. For immediate precedent, many Walmarts even beat TRU to Wave 2 a couple months ago, so why not again? I'd say we'll see by Thursday if we're going to see, but no ruling it out simply on the basis that TRU's trucks came first. To the other stores, stock is stock.

My tru said they have a new shipment to put out on the 20th? I don't think it is wave three because we have seen the boxes saying to keep stored until 23rd or something along those lines

Just Shroomboom. We've already seen pics of the lightcore box, and everything else in it is previously released lightcores. Seems like a bad idea to put out more of the figures already clogging the shelves.

Has anyone heard anything about new Triple Packs for Wave 3?

I went to my local TRU last night and asked if the skylanders would be out the 23rd will be released at midnight or 6am or when ever and they had no clue. Nobody said a word about any coming out the 20th.

My question is are we 100% sure about LC Shroom Boom coming out the moring of the 20 at 6am?

With 5 days to go one would expect other stores to start getting in shipments for wave 3, but so far only TRU has them. Will Walmart, Target, Gamestop, etc. have wave 3 on the 23rd...I HOPE SO!!

Just talked to the Store Manager from my local TRU and he said that they are open 24/7 but the Wave 3 will be released at 6am on Sunday. He also said that they have the small figures (S2) and 1 box of light core at this time. They do not have any Giants and not sure if they are getting more boxes in before then. He hopes so but again - Not sure.

Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't get the giants until last minute. A lot more scalpability with them then the s2 figs. Wouldn't surprise me i we got none tho either.

I went to 2 different TRUs and both confirmed the same thing...S2 reposes (the ones mentioned in this thread) and LC Shroomy only at this point...NO GIANTS. They also both said they were told to put them all out early, either Thursday the 20th or Friday the 21st. They are not waiting until Sunday the 23rd to put them on the shelves even though that's what is on the boxes as TRU is starting to release commercials for the new figures. They both weren't sure when exactly they would be on the shelves. They were still waiting to hear but it will be for either Thurs or Fri. One said they are getting truck deliveries every night until xmas.
