That's odd, I work part time as a manager at Gamestop. And none of the Gamestops have gotten:

-A release date on this wave.
-Shipments of any of them.
-Confirmation on when we will be getting any new ones and
-Gamestop NEVER has info on what is coming in the actual Skylanders boxes, just a generic description of "Skylndrs-Single-12CT" <===Something to that effect.
-Company policy: Only store managers can open shipments of street dated product to count it and then reseal, any other employees don't really get to poke/nose around.

That being said, I've seen some nutty things happen, but I know for a fact... as of right now... Gamestop has not received shipments of Wave 3 (not nationwide, maybe some fluke shipments out there) and GS also has no date on any of the actual "Wave 3" or any such thing: see above about the shipments for Skylanders shipments being very generic.

This is where I still have skepticism. It's been a long time since I was a peasant worker at Funcoland, but things haven't changed that dramatically; they're still a relatively-small store, and from what I can tell, they almost always put stuff out when they get it. With release date stuff, I'm pretty sure they usually get that product day-of. I think it's a very curious thing that individual stores would be sitting on cases of these items more than a week in advance.

Still, it makes sense that Thumpback would be coming, so I'm hopeful that there's truth to that rumor, whether what Zookinator is saying is legit or not. VERY skeptical about Scorpion Strikers, since we've seen a release date that indicates they'd be coming out sometime next year.

I don't think you are making this up. But what you are saying is a third hand account (the first two having no idea which Skylander is which) that a guy in the box is some "giant shark guy". And no other Gamestop reports of having gotten in shipments. When I hear "shark guy", that makes me think Terrafin, honestly - and he is a Skylanders Giant figure (not a giant himself, but people that aren't into the game may not realize that). And the shipments they got in could be restocks.

You ever play that old whisper game where you whisper in someone's ear, then they whisper in the next all the way down the line and then compare what the last person thinks he heard versus what the first person said? There is a difference in lying and simply not having accurate information. You have truthfully given the details of your information. Thumpback could be on the way, that would be great.

well if wave 3 is coming on the 23 and only one giant is being released then that leaves 2 more waves.

wave 4 could be eye-brawl or ninjini
wave 5 could be eye-brawl or ninjini

one giant per wave and of course any other characters. like lightcore pop fizz

Yes but zap has said on every single wave 3 topic that "its only one box opened blah blah blah" and it's like noone saw it.

here is the solution:
1.go to gamestop with a weapon
2.threaten to see the wave 3 boxes
3.take pics.

This could just be a small release, maybe not the whole wave 3. Or as someone said it is only one box. Giants come in different boxes then what the reposes do. So maybe they just haven't gotten the giants boxes in yet. Those will be the most coveted ones when they do come out. Maybe they are waiting to ship those. Maybe we don't have a giant this time.

Anyways you see what word I used the most in that paragraph? Maybe. It's only a week away kids, wait. You will know probably in less than a week if we have a giant this time. If their is it will be on ebay.

We've also had second hand accounts of /all/ the Giants. Until I see proof or more verification I'm not sure who or what...but I can't believe that at least one Giant isn't coming with this wave.

An estimate of $85 for the entire Wave 3 without tax and excluding random variants? I am ready. Sunday, let's g-g-g-go!

Also I've just noticed they're re-releasing the Series 2 Cynder. Man, I've already gotten a lot of loose S2 Cynder's from the game bundles, lol. I would've preferred the Glow In the Dark one. I like my special variants in mint condition.

I got a reply when I asked about pics. She said Activision yelled at her and said that the product was strictly street dated, but she still may be able to get an image.

Last 3 giants come out in this wave

That leaves 6 guys for wave 4

Didn't we had a topic where there was a list of waves and it said the last wave would have everything the other waves didnt have? Like, making the third wave the last wave.
Im not going to say it couldn't be fake, but it predicted Wave 2 and it was right, and considering this IS christmas season, launching everything would be a good move, its just that I dont see a wave of ''Skylanders GIANTS'' without a GIANT in it.

Yeah, a Jet vac single pack is kinda obvious by now considering that Cynder has one... Guess these are for those who either got the GITD Starter(No normal S2 Cynder) or the 3DS Starter pack(No Jet Vac).
