The kicker was they didn't have pictures of the on-hand items up.

But the scalpers that were taking "pre-orders" are going to come down on prices rapidly as the official dates get closer.

I'm starting not to believe they had them inhand. They could take time to post a stock photo, but not inhand pics? Then, I think someone in this very thread said they were going to upload pics today, of Eye Brawl and Thumpback, and I don't see those yet.

I seriously doubt they had them inhand, and I hope they get some negative feedback for their lies. DON'T BELIEVE ONDORE'S LIES!

It was released in some way already. Not new. Technically it is just a rerelease.

I saw today at my Walmart, the series 2 Eruptor and Prism Break. I didnt buy them because I am not buying all the originals again. Guess Walmart broke the release of the 23rd as well. Didnt have any new Giants out (believe me I looked since I saw Eruptor and Prism.)

Now I just have to see if my TRU will have new Giants and what time they open. I hope they are not open 24 hours at that point in time where I would have to be there at Midnight on Sat night. I would be pissed if I was and they had nothing new out at that time....

Most people that work at Walmart know next to nothing about Skylanders and probably opened the case and saw the same two figures that were already on the shelf (albeit in Lightcore form) and just stocked them not noticing a difference. At first glance, they do look similar...

Vortimous, TRU put out a statement a few days ago saying that all of their stores would be open 24 hours starting 12-21 through 10pm on Christmas Eve. If I don't hear anything from here, I plan on calling and trying to get with a manager to see what the plan is on when they will be putting the new ones out and how they are going to go about it. This might become a huge pain in the rear

I actually tried to do that today, but they were currently unaware of what the plan would be. I'll be checking back periodically throughout the week.

Tell me about it. My local store according to the web site says that they are open 24hrs from Mid Friday night till Sat midnight and then open from 6 AM sunday morning till 1AM sunday night. I hope this is correct. That way they are open at 6 AM sunday and I can be there at opening. I will just be mad if they are open all night and I show up at midnight and they dont have anything new out. Or dont put it out till sunday morning sometime.

I just looked it up and all of the stores in my area list the same hours. I looked in my old haunt in FL and the same thing. Why are they saying they will be open straight 24 hours through Christmas Eve if they aren't? I hope this schedule is right since that would mean not having to wait around starting at midnight trying to see when they will put them out....

Seems like wave 3 is shaping up to be the weakest wave of skylanders so far in either game, with just (5) Series 2 reposes and a delayed release battle pack with hot dog.

well they have 5 business days to get them all to the retailers (if not already there) and some shippers ship on Sat. Who the hell knows, I will be out there getting the series 2 so hopefully they will come out and I'll get the Giants.

I think it is unlikely they have been sent to retailers at this time, too. I think they will ship the giants last to prevent stores from breaking street date on them as much as possible.

If they released the last 3 giants, then wave 4 would be....

Obviously. This is the first we have heard of a supposed "Skylanders Retired 3-Pack".

It's just the shelf tag at TRU for S:SA figure 3-packs. I mean, if someone really wants to see it, I'll send it to them. I don't have a tumblr or flickr account so I can't link it right now.
