Which skylander do you use for the time trials you have to do to three star each level? I was thinking Stealth Elf cause she is fast and strong. If you could, could you post who you personally use and who I should use based on the skylanders I have in my sig. Thanks in advance.

I've had good results with L-Trigger Happy and Flameslinger, but I don't often speedrun.

Based on your collection, I'd say infinite waterpack Gill Grunt is your best bet. The most important thing about time trials is being constantly fast and on the move. Jet Vac doesn't have an infinite airpack unfortunately.
I personally use Swarm. His flight gives him great mobility, he does good damage, and most importantly, he can break bomb walls, saving some serious time.

Your probably right. Swarm would be perfect. Maybe crusher rubble master is good, too?

When I first played Giants I used to use Wasp for time trials. Recently I've been using Stealth Elf and she's pretty fast and powerful. Back in Spyro's Adventure I used Spyro / Dark Spyro and Bash.

Aw, I've just played with Jet-Vac for the first time yesterday. I assumed he was eventually going to have an infinite jet pack through upgrades like Gill Grunt did with his water jet. Guess not.

Jet vac is downgraded gill. And, stealth elf is an easy one to use, because you keep doing backflips.

In my experience, there are lots of fast Skylanders. But there are two that seem to stand out from the rest. Pulver Dragon Bash, and Megadozer Drill Seargeant. Megadozer gets a lot of criticism for not being very effective, but if rushing through a level is your plan, then he's perfect. Pulver Dragon Bash does a lot of damage and is fast. His tail swipe is also still powerful at this upgrade path, in case you're needing it for enemy clears. The flying characters are cool, other characters can be fast, but these two guys are faster than any other skylander I have seen....
...in my opinion. |

The flying guys are considerably slower than the dashers. I also like using terrafin, and switching him for slam bam/hot head when the enemies appear.

I like using Zap because he's fast and leaves a trail of the electric slime behind him, doing more enemy damage once he's already past them! I also use Flashwing, Warnado and Terrafin for time trials, as they don't take a lot of damage... if any!

I used S2 Drill Sergeant for all of them. He's a little slower than S2 Flameslinger, but does a ton of damage. Either way, I'd recommend those two above all others.
Keep in mind elemental advantages, too. When you find yourself stopped for combat for any prolonged period of time, it's faster to swap on a high-damage member of the zone's preferred element, then bring Drill Sergeant/Flameslinger/whoever back on afterwards for travel. |

Stealth Elf dominates the competition with being the fastest, but use Hot Head on Drill-X's Big Rig when you fight him.
