Bianca model used for Ratchet? [CLOSED]

Ratchet (R&C) looks like Bianca (Spyro YOTD). Is it possible that Insomniac used her model for Ratchet...making a lot of changes, but they look similar.

...No, not really. Since a low-poly model would be worthless on the PS2. They might have similarities, yeah, but they're both bipedal - it's not exactly difficult to make from scratch.

Extremely unlikely. Ratchet's concept went through a bunch of strange evolutions before reaching its final form, none of which are remotely similar to Bianca. <.<

No, it's due to how the ps1 renders 3D graphics. In simple terms, it renders it flat so 3D ripping softwares like 3D Ripper DX can not recognise the Z axis. It is possible, just not very easily with the programs everyone uses.

I personally don't think that Bianca's model was used for Ratchet, I've seen sketches of Ratchet in a YouTube video from Insomniac Games, and he originally looked a lot smaller than Bianca.

Probably not-but I noticed Tara (Desert Ruins) moves the same as Bianca and has the same hairstyle as her. Could their models be the same...sort of?

Insomniac Games probably "copied and pasted" the same model and changed some things to save time most probably.

I can see the resemblence, but I don't think they used her model.

When I first saw it it reminded me of a Lego character a bit when I was a kid building those 80s Lego hospital packages,but that was just a first glance I only have used here like twice so far

Yeah their models are the same. But Tara was modeled to look like Lara Croft from the Tomb raider series. Exactly why she's found in a Tomb.
