DD Hilarious script is hilarious. Characters are great, but might need to still work out the timeline issue thing (cause now it's seeming to run into the Giants game and overwriting the script of Giants - like Ermit is saying totally different lines than what he'd say there which makes the story flow a problem), and make the scenes longer. Else there's going to be a lot of going back and forth which might make it choppy or awkward. So lines-wise, the characters sound like themselves for the most part, and the plot and stuff is coming great and the dialogue choice is nice and funny, but we're probably really yeah, gonna have to fix the timeline. I can wedge in a few lines to thicken the scenes.

I've got the timeline situation handled. Eon decides that the magic source is more important than a robot. Also, new ideas:

The Skylanders have many contests to train. They go into battle, and lose epically. Then, Eon splits them all into elemental groups. This will also give every Skylander a chance to speak!

Ugh there is some private stuff going on so I am not able to work on it. Will do it on weekends.

Tis fine ^w^ Weekend work is great. I haven't been home on a PC in like a week now ;; so I can't necessarily be like fffuuu at anyone who can't work ha ha.

Hey, I 'm not sure if someone has taken Niblet's spot yet, and I'm kind of a good writer, would it be okay if I could take his spot? If not, I would be happy to be a voice actor if you wanted to.

Yes we do need another writer to help Skyoutube with the script. I check back here from time to time but I'm moving the work flow to my Skylanders forums in a bit (link in my signature). This forum is too cluttered with spam and everything else and I needed some space to work on it in separate threads and all.

On using webcams for mics - Not sure if webcam would work unless you can get decent quality audio in .wav format from it. So it depends.

I'm sorry I haven't been updating recently. I've run into a busy schedule. I'll try to get a scene done tonight.

Again no rush. I'm working on a few original small games to push out, which have priority over this anyway.

Lol everyone hasn't been able to work on it.

It's alright. It's the Christmas holidays. A decrease in production is expected~ because people get immensely busy around this time of year. I expect things to pick up once Christmas holidays are New Years are put past us.

If the new writer and Skyoutube can alternate, we'll be in good standing. Especially since my writing is pretty poor. I wouldn't want to ruin the script itself due to my total failure as a writer so I'm patient about it if it means the script will be nice.

Mind shipping the script to the potential new writer? They can input any dialogue they think fits inside the current script and you can edit it in, and maybe give yourself a little break~

Well my laptop has a built in web cam and mic, so would that help?

I do think so if the mic would work alone outside of the webcam. I've never personally used a webcam mic for recording before.

Audacity is fine, just be sure to use the Noise Remove function.

Animations look pretty good, although could use some tweening to make them smoother and a few kinks worked out. What I'll probably do is let you storyboard animate the entire thing along with anyone else, then I'll go in and do line-art and colour over it in RETAS PRO as well as add a few more in between frames to iron it all out. Also do you use tracking lines to measure animation paths when you animate? It's where you draw a visible line where certain points (such as chin) will touch in one arc of animation, all the way through the follow-through. That helps keep everything moving like it should.

If you'd like you can thumb back a few pages and see the teaser trailer animation layout and try animating that and I'll make a final version?

The Skylanders are mostly focused in Skylands this time, during this movie, which is somehow supposed to take place between the first and second games, although I'd like that changed because of continuity issues from Skyoutube's script to the Giants game dialogues. But he did write up a small teaser scene a few pages back in this thread.
