well i got a stone whirlewind at my nearest toyrus in ohio and if anyone can tell me how to put the picture up ill post it. i was so happy when i found it i didnt think they were still sendings stones out makes me feel like i can find a sparkle of some kinda. anyone still finding them. and ill post pick if someone can tell me how i cant just copy and paste it

I see them called rock or stone. There really is no official term.

The Rock/Stone variants do not show up as "Special". That also goes for the Sparkle/Glitter variants. Only the Variants that are specific to a store come up as "Special" (i.e. Walmart - GITD Cynder, Amazon - Gold FlameSlinger, etc.)

They MAY not be producing them anymore, I think it was the first lucky stores to receive them on day 1.

That Whirlwind may have been sitting in a box for 2 months, or sitting on the shelf since the game came out.

both of my rock variants and both of my quartz/glitter/sparkle (or whatever stupid name you like) show up as "special" in game so stop posting bollox facts that are incorrect

^ Yes they do show up as special!! I don't know where your information is coming from Dinoah, but both my rock variants and my glitter show up as "Series 2 Special"... please don't spread incorrect info if you're not sure or haven't tried it yourself!! smilie

I read from some post awhile back and thats what I understood it saying.

Found the Stone Whirlwind triple pack today at a TRU in NJ. Had to dig through about 50+ triple packs, but it was worth it. Almost passed out when I saw it...and it was on sale too.

About two minutes after finding Stone Zook (my first rare) Walmart let me take home their GIANTS display. That was a great day.
