This. I'm not saying there's def gonna be a giant but people should stop saying there won't be one. Maybe 2. We don't know yet. Guess when we'll know.

between now and Xmas. Maybe lol.

Has anyone thought this might be just a start of wave 3? Perhaps we won't see a giant til the jan 1?

Well if Legendary Stealth Elf proves anything than They could be staggering every wave.
LSE comes marked in [W2] street dated for Black Friday ((Her release date which was after Wave 2))

If Gamestop's scorpion Striker's releases date ISN'T a place holder than Hotdog is technically Wave 3 as well as anything else that releases at the same time.

The sad part is it seems [w3] is being distributed ((At least to TRU)) in Direct shipments from Acti instead of being sent to their central DCs and then shipped in TRU trucks.
What this means for me is I have no bloody clue when Wave 3 boxes will just show up and I won't get anymore till at earliest Monday.
Though I can't imagine that we won't get LC Shroomboom in the store >.>;; So I expect at least a few more boxes from Acti with street dated SBs

I don't know where you guys are getting that we've had Thumpback confirmed. We've got one kid whose older sister supposedly described something, second-hand, that MIGHT resemble Thumpback, which all played out in a scenario that is scarcely believable. It's possible that it's true, but that same kid has not responded to any of the skepticism, or at all since said skepticism was posted.

We're FAR from confirmation.

if these dates are true. what do we expect to see before the store opens?? another black friday? get that 3rd wave for christmas? or just another day that people may not know about it? be there a hour or 2 before the store opens? wait by the door like people do on black thursday or friday?

Christmas shopping is all but finalized at that point; believe me, ours is too. Only reason we'd go is because of the post-Xmas drought.

what better gift though than a wave 3 character. something their kids would go crazy over to find under the christmas tree. parents will do anything if they knew the characters would be released on the 23. cause people will still be shopping up to the last minute before the stores close on christmas eve

Exactly.

But here's what I think.

Aside from zap, they only have Spyro, Wrecking Ball, and Drobot to release for S2s.

It would've been awesome if they released the remaining S2 and had zap come out in January.

Or they could release Spyro, Zap, Wrecking Ball, and Drobot in January.

If they are releasing anything new for magic or tech, let it be spyro and Drobot. Even throw in wrecking ball.

Toys R Us seems to disagree with you. They will be open 48 Hours that weekend for last minute shoppers and I personally don't have any W2 boxes to fill my shelves with so midnight on Saturday I'm throwing my W3s out into the wild.

Like I posted earlier I should get my Giants and Lightcore boxes on Monday. If I do I'll report back Tuesday with what I received in them - if Ninjini, Thumpback, and Eyebrawl are in box I'll try and scrounge up money - if I'm still super broke I'll snap pics.

A note on the "retired" boxes. That SKU only pops for the Camo/Ignitor/Warnado 3-pack which I have WAY too many of. I've even got a ton on the shelves hoping the people who didn't take the plunge till giants ((Like myself)) would gobble them up. Not so much a Shelf-Tag change as a UPC/SKU swap.
