also thought about buying the crystal cynder pack and returning the sets to walmart and wind up only paying $20 bucks for a crystal cynder.

They were available a long time ago. Still sold out it seems. Not surprising.

I found them when I was looking up future releases of games under PS3.

Yeah, they had these out last year whenever the crystal Skylanders started to appear. I believe a few users who worked at Gamestop stated that the boxes they were getting were of a mixed assortment from Gamestop's warehouses, meaning that the special figures were deliberately taken out of them before sending them to stores which is absolutely appalling.

I'd expect this kind of crap from a hobby shop or collectibles store, but not from a corporation. What's next, TRU WM, and Target doing the same thing?

Yes. But at least theirs are a bit of a better deal and they're not taking chase figures out of boxes.

That's kinda my point. Selling your own exclusive on your own site, and giving a deal on top of that is fine. But to cherry-pick the valuable "chase" figs, and not even allow them to go to mass market is a huge thumbs-down. When I meet up with my Activision contact at NYTF, I will definitely ask their opinion of this.

AMEN!!!

Those links were created along time ago. I noticed them back when the Clear Wham-Shell first came out. They have not been available since. If you notice, only a few have commented about them so I am not sure how many were actually available, I would say "About a hand full" if that.
