SPROCKET!

Powerful melee, mines, and freaking turrets.

Flashwing. I said on another post she's what I'd call a "room cleaner". She just wipes out everything with ease, and you can also snipe characters across long distances with some of her attacks as well.

Both. You won't really know which you prefer until you use em both.

I will say tho you might wanna hold out on flash til we see the jade variant.

Anyway, Flashwing is the best long range character.

Throwing mines, making mountable turrets, smacking people with a giant wrench. Nuff said, Sprocket is awesome.

looks good and is still decent enough to clear levels alone.
does not look as cool but is epic in power.
I would say though because she is thee earth dragon (with wings anyway), and is one of those that is a must in collection because of her style and the fact she is the (winged) earth dragon. is probably the best tech element however.
Super Spinner as the path for sure. The other path is inaccurate and not near as powerful.
Not sure about the path for if you do get her. I do not have her, as my family is bankrupt and I was able to get from the kindness of another person who could spare $11

for sure. I have both and I definitely prefer Flashwing. Don't get me wrong, I like Sprocket too, but she's not one of my favorites.
In my personal opinion, Flashwing looks amazing, and down her spinner path, I've never been happier with a Skylander. But again, this is just my personal preference.

Obviously, you need to get them both.
I can't decide who is better.
You cant' go wrong with either one of them.

I really liked Sprocket at first just for looks, but Flashwing's gameplay is much smoother.

IMO, Sprocket is the worst looking Skylander ever. Something annoys me about the way she moves too. The gameplay for her takes a little getting used to, and if you are not a skilled player, her upgrades take too long to be useful (by the time my kid was done building turrets and hopping onto them in the castle tech area, he was surrounded and had almost 0 health left). Even the basic wrench swinging isn't fast enough at the beginning of the game to run in and beat up on enemies, you have to swing once and run if you want to avoid getting hit.

Let me try this post again....I say Sprocket. I like my Flashwing but LOVE Sprocket. It's so nice to have a room full of enemies and just be able to set up her tank thing and just walk away while it shoots at everything in sight. That leaves you time and room to take care of business. If it gets destroyed, just make another Her wrench does some quick good damage if you are a good button masher too

However, onto my actual evaluation now that I have actually upgraded Flashwing(yes, at 3:46 AM, but this is standard for me ).

Buy both.

Sprocket and Flashwing are just too different to compare. Flashwing is a great addition to the ranged field that doesn't necessarily add anything new, but is still fun to play with. Sprocket is a clever addition to the melee side that does a lot of things in an insanely enjoyable way any other Skylander fails to do. Both are excellent in their own rights and I garuntee you will enjoy both.

However, if you must pick one I will go with what some people might say is insane on my part and recommend you get Flashwing now JUST BECAUSE she is very popular and will sell out fast.

If you want a personal recommendation, Sprocket is my favorite out of ALL the Skylanders, but like I said they're just waaaay too different to compare. Straight up both are just excellent and everyone should own both at some point.

Sprocket is just pure entrapment on every part but whacking things to death with her wrench. Does she rely on the battlefield? No... But when you learn to manipulate it with her moves, she is a force to be reckoned with. Right down to Landmine Golf (which you should aim at a spot around your foe to hit them with the medium extra blast radius, NOT aim it right at them- proof that memorizing the field is the key to utilizing her) you can get the most out of her moves. Using Sprocket can be a different experience in every level or arena, because she gets her true strength revealed upon doing this. Of course, you can always ruin everything using her attacks straight up and they're all fantastic to use and powerful from the get go- but the strategy behind getting what you can using her just adds to her fun.

Flashwing totally surprised me and this is coming from someone who hated her before, so much I thought she was the worst Skylander. The videos of her didn't help my opinion of her because they were just done so awfully- Aura24's was basically solving Lock Puzzles! However, recently, I've been thinking about her a bit more and considering maybe that she wasn't as bad as I expected her to be, but I didn't expect her to be THIS good. Upon playing her my fears were put to rest because Flashwing is just fun, just plain fun. She doesn't nessecarily add anything new to Skylanders and neither does she make much sense- gosh ballerina twirl- but something about her is just great. I went down Super Spinner because her tail moves are already fine and borderline spammable, and I am pleased with her, and I actually like her so much now I proudly added her onto my team.

Vur hak astahii relgra vi truce lae ilthyeoic. Both of them are fantastic. Buy both. If anything, skip out on the disappointment named Hot Head. But really, both amazing additions from the get go.

... All the reposes in the Triples are meh, by the way, because none of their Wow Pows add much in terms of gameplay, so you can safely skip their Triples and afford both new characters as Singles with ease.
Double Trouble: Absolutely useless, he kills anything straight away regardless.
Gill Grunt: Not so different from Soul Gem it warrants rebuying him.
Sonic Boom: Not a huge difference- her eggs are already fine as grenades and Super Baby is still too weak and spotty.
Stump Smash: Acorns are already fine. Wow Pow just makes them broken which is fine but it simply doesn't change him up to warrant it.

hello nibelilt.....nice to have you back.....how long has it been....1...2 weeks?

I love Flashwing and originally thought I wouldn't like her. She's awesome in the battle arena and can wipe out a crowd of bad guys in a hurry as she's moving rather quickly. So if you need someone to fill that gap you will be happy once she's upgraded.

You will not be disappointed. I wasn't.

Honestly, I would get both. They are both fun to play with. You can listen to people on here and what they say, however it will be you playing and you deciding what you like and don't like.

GM76 is her OLD account, she has been a user for a while.

and back on topic ... i wasn't sure about sprocket but having used her in game she is different and much more fun than flashwing

In my opinion only Stealth Elf has a worse catchphrase. Actually, I'd tie them for worst catchphrase, because Flash just says hers insufferably and at least Stealth's has some comical value. I disagree both her paths are rubbish though because I like Super Spinner but Super Shards is just *LOUD SNORING*
Both of Sprocket's paths are tied for my favorite in the whole game... Because Nibelilt.

I'd say go with Sprocket. She's got a great voice and personality, and her in game character models look a lot better than her figure. She's also a lot of fun to play as if you like melee characters. Flashwing is okay, but not that memorable or fun to play as.

Fun fact about Sprocket that nobody ever mentions is that her voice actor is the same woman who voiced Tommy Pickles from Rugrats, and Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls. It makes sense because Sprocket's character is a lot like a toned down version of Buttercup.

SPROCKET!! I take the place of nibelilt and say the she is awesome! Get her instead of flashy.

Im pretty sure that you plan on getting all of them anyways so I would suggest getting Sprocket first because she is harder to find, at least around here.

Well I got both yesterday and I have to say Flashwing is meh.Out of wave 2 Sprocket is the gem you could say.She is easyly one of the best melee characters along with a few others.I reccomend Sprocket as she is well awesome.
