Basically, I was noticing a few things about how the toy looks different from the in game character. Now I'm not referring to like series 2 shows the toy with one of it's upgrades. Or how some upgrades change the character. Here are some things I noticed.

Dark Spyro: For those of you who have this you'll notice that the card looks different from the toy. His scales are dark purple not black. His wings are black and his spikes/horns have more black mixed in with the white. This I find strange for I like the toy/game coloration better.

Dark Spyro(Giants): Not sure if the console version does it too but they changed Dark Spyro's wings from white to black. Honestly, I like the white wings better.

Cynder(Giants): At first I thought it was just the GITD series 2 but it also effects the series one Cynder. And that the horns/spikes are black instead of white. But honestly this actually looks a bit neater but I wish that only series 2 did this and not the series 1.

Chill: Chill's toy has red lips and blond hair(Look at the back of the toys helmet) But in game she's got blue lips and blue hair. Though I noticed that in some lights it looks blond instead of blue.

Yeah, i noticed that about chill too! Also, slam bam was opaque in his poster but now he's translucent.

Sprocket in the Giants Poster has yellow skin; changed to gold. Also, a lot of the new characters had prototypes.

yeah like my sproket has black in her hair, though that could just be the paint coming off, but I bought her that way.

Usually, there's some change from concept art to a 3D image (ie, printing out the character for models, which are then repainted and whatnot)

My scan from an issue of Nintendo Power earlier this year kind of shows this change in Drobot- coincidentally, the brown colored Drobot actually made it into Giants as S1 Drobot's character icon.

I see... I think Chill looks cooler with the blue lips. Plus I think she's be better with Black hair. But Blue's not bad.

Hmmm.. strange. maybe it's a newer released one. Or maybe mine is just that wierd.

S2 Double Trouble holds his staff in his right hand while S1 holds said staff in his left hand.....

If you open it up and notice it, its considered a painting error. However, keep it in the box and post it on ebay, its a variant! lawl

This is mainly on the Lip coloration. As My Chill has red lips yet I noticed the Chill's that I find in the store now have the correct Blue lips. Strange maybe my Chill is some kind of mistake. Could be worth something $_$. Just kidding. Though I find it wierd.


Also Some one mentioned about how the concept art and 3d image and what not vary. I get that but that doesn't explain Dark Spyro as much since he came from the LOS series. The card art is competly different from LOS version of Dark Spyro as the Toy and In game is the same as it.


Also, Does Sprocket in the COnsole version have her goggles up most or are they down most of the time. Because the 3DS version of her she only has her goggles down is when she's building the turrent/tank or when she's riding the turrent/tank.
