I judged them based on battle skill. Not aesthetics.

Air: Lightning Rod (just didn't care for him)
Life: Shroomboom (horrible accuracy, redundant abilities)
Undead: Ghost Roaster (didn't care for him, still a neat character, hard to pick on from undead, they're all fun)
Earth: Prism Break (I guess, the only one I don't have, I love all the earth guys)
Fire: Eruptor (worst character in game! slow, weak, inaccurate! try doing You Break It, You Buy It with him and you'll know)
Water: Gill Grunt (again, just didn't care for him)
Magic: VooDood (also didn't care for him)
Tech: Drill Sergeant (didn't care for him, though they improved him for Giants, so he pretty well ties w/ Trigger Happy)
Giant: Bouncer (weak, redundant abilities, doesn't feel like you're a GIANT)

There are actually very few characters I actively don't like, but I guess since this is "least favorite" not "most hated" it works out.

This should be easy.

LIFE: Shroomboom. No contest. His paratroopers and mushroom ring are COMPLETELY USELESS. He's also fairly slow.
TECH: Boomer. I happen to like him, but the entire Tech element is better overall.
FIRE: Flameslinger. I HATE this guy. I never liked his weak attacks, low armour, or HP. 500 HP might work for Double Trouble, but doesn't work for this guy. Why was he, and not Sunburn(my favourite Fire Skylander), granted an orange base?
EARTH: Prism Break. I haven't played him, but my friend said he sucks.
WATER: Zap. His attacks are too weak for my tastes. Still awesome, though.
AIR: Jet -Vac. He's very awesome, it's just that sucked up enemies won't give you XP. He's also a little weak.
MAGIC: Voodood. Only because his axe likes to phase through enemies. Other than that he's solid.
UNDEAD: Hex. Again, I haven't played her, so I'll probably revise this once I get her repose.
Giant: Bouncer. I haven't played him, so this will likely change soon.
And that's all.
