I appologise if this has been talked about already. But I just started being involved on the forum again yesterday. But this just showed up locally for sale. The person wants $150 for it.

Yep, it's the new variants of her, Hot Head, and Sprocket.
They are impossible to find..
But, they are covered with glitter.

I agree, wish I could find one too!! Someone here in town has a Glitter Hot Head like this on Craig's List... that means there was one RIGHT HERE!!! SOOO close, yet so far away....!!! lol

It was in the hundreds, so I didn't give it a second glance (i came across it earlier this week)... i'm patient enough to wait for the right deal, I wanna say he was asking about $200 or $250 and they stated right in the listing that the price was firm... i just saw one sell on eBay for like $300 though so I'm sure someone will pay that much for it!!

I'm curious as to what stores people are finding these glitter variants in...and the rock variants too. Walmart? Target? TRU?

All of the ones you listed usually get them. Target is the least likely, while Walmart and TRU usually get them most often.

I got my Rock variants from TRU and Walmart.
The Rock ones cannot be found anymore, BTW.

i didn't know you couldn't get the rock ones anymore! when did they stop making them?? I kinda thought they'd make a rock Giant since the S1 variants all had 3 of a kind and this time it was looking like they'd do that again- with 2 regular and 1 giant... there goes that theory!! lol

They made them for day 1 only, and due to sheer rarity, they limited production.

Do you KNOW they have discontinued the stone variants, or are you just guessing based on no one finding them since day one? Unless you know this for whatever reason, its entirely possible we'll see them again when wave 1 gets restocked.

They discontinued them. They were 1 in every 50 boxes for the 1st shippments.

Each wave has a variant. Wave 1 had the Stone/Granite (Crusher, Zook and Whirlwind). Wave 2 has the Glitter (Hot Head, Sprocket and Sonic Boom). I would imagine that Wave 3 and 4 will have there own variant. Just like SSA had GOLD/SILVER/GITD/GLOW for their 4 waves. Once the initial waves are out they no longer make the variants any more. We are now on Wave 2 and soon will be on Wave 3.
Notice each wave (1 and 2 Giants) have a variant Giant included.

Wave 1 SG only had rock Zook and Whirlie, no third one. I suspect that would have been a giant but they must have changed their mind at the last minute.

OMG could you imagine how epic it would be if BOTH were in that 3 pack since Sonic Boom and Sprocket are in the same 3 pack??!! That ONE hypothetical package would be "one of a kind" for sure!!!

Post if Sparkle Boom shows up different than the GITD one..

Edit: Even Code wouldn't work... emailed Acti Support, not happy. Nobody likes spending hundreds on variants and then having them lack the Special flag.

There is no "Special" Sprocket. This silver variant is just a repaint, much like the red Drill Sergeant and blue Bash, which also don't show up as anything different than their regular counterparts.

I have one of the Sparkle/Glitter Sprocket figures. I found it at Wal-Mart while looking for the GITD Sonic Boom. I will try and post a vid link to it
