Basically if you couldn't read it(it was too long): What characters did you like/dislike that you eventually disliked/liked


I liked Wrecking Ball, then I played him. I ended up beating it with a hammer •_•
I disliked Crusher now I really like him.

+1 on wrecking ball not my favorite character by no means. i thought he would be cool but after playing with him in the game and doing his heroics i was glad to be done with him

I was very impressed with jet vac and chill and was disappointed by shroomboom and sprocket (no surprise)

I hated tree rex with all my guts but now he rocks

I was going to give Ninjini a chance... PFFFFFT.

I thought that I was going to love warnado, but now he is probably my least favorite. Only thing I like are his looks. I also thought that I was going to hate boomer with a passion, but now love him! One of my favorites!

Chop Chop here. Although there wasn't really any growing exactly, it's more a matter of them making him exceptionally good this time as opposed to awful. I had no reason to hate the aesthetic of the character before, so the only thing stopping me from playing Chop Chop before was that there wasn't any point to it unless you like to be disappointed on a regular basis.

Hmm... Used to love Terrafin, but got tired of him. He got very repetitive. Playstyle, looks, everything. I recognize that this is an amazing character, but he's not for me.

Hated Tree Rex out of the box, loved him the next day.

Hmm... Adored Ghost Roaster at first, but barely even consider him a Skylander today. Total afterthought.

I guess that's it for me.

I hated Sprocket. Then I met Nibelilt and I eventually bent into liking her.

I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to Ghost Roaster. I used to love that crazy ghost but nowadays, I'm rather "meh" about him. His skull charge only hitting once didn't help.

As for the opposite.. I wasn't too keen on Boomer, much like everyone else. However, once I read the novel The Machine of Doom and saw how fun he was, I had to have him and now he's one of my favorites.

By the end of the first Skylanders, I detested Flynn.

By the end of Giants, I hated him much more.

Every Skylander I didn't care about or think were ugly at first, I ended up liking them once I got to actually play with them, level up and upgrade them. A few examples were Gill Grunt, Drobot, and Double Trouble. Those were the ones where I said, "Ew, these Skylanders don't look interesting to me." Then when I actually decided to level them up I was like, "Okay these guys are actually pretty cool".

Every Skylander that I liked at first and was looking forward to playing with always end up sucking once I play them. A few examples were Sunburn, Whirlwind, Camo and Whamshell. Once I bought those figures I couldn't wait to play with them, and when I finally did I was like, "My God...these Skylanders are so poop! All that hype for nothing!"

I honestly haven't played with any of the new Skylanders from Giants yet besides Swarm so far. Even though I own them all, lol. Swarm was the coolest-looking new Giants figure and I'm glad I ended up liking him. I played with Chill for a little bit 'cause I thought she looked cool but she didn't seem that great to me so far. I haven't upgraded her that much yet though.

I used to love Glumshanks-san but........



All my thoughts have pretty much been the same throughout. Still love Ghostie and Boomer as much as I did when i first laid eyes on them too.

Still not liking Spyro and Camo.

I thought Spyro was boring at first until I decided to upgrade him to the max. Then he becomes kinda awesome. I upgraded my regular Spyro to the "Sheep Burner Spyro" path and my Dark Spyro to the "Blitz Spyro" path. Sheep Burner is more interesting 'cause you get to shoot multiple fireballs as well as charge a huge one. I haven't fully upgraded Camo yet 'cause he didn't seem interesting to me initially. I'll work on him one day. Spyro is especially great on the 3DS titles.

Dark Spyro is awesome on the 3DS. He's a sick melee fighter in it.

Oh yeah, Dark Spyro is great on the 3DS. He actually plays differently compared to regular Spyro. I love the combos. A lot of the times I wished the console version of Skylanders was the 3DS version.

I come to each Skylander neutrally but Hex is the only Skylander that failed to impress me

i hated spyro, but as i got more, he grew fun. hes my funnest skylander (yes, i meant that).

I loved , but as soon as I got more Skylanders, I hated him.

Also, I loved Warnado and wanted him SOOOO bad. Web I finally got him in the three-pack, I wanted to stop playing Skylanders. So a couple days ago when I got SG, I opened him up and played. He's one of my LEAST favorite characters. I don't get why people call him fun and strong. He can't do any massive damage.

I don't hate any Skylanders they are all awesome

I quite disliked Hex but When I acctually got to play with her it was kinda nice.

At first, I didn't really think Flashwing was gonna be great, but I was very much mistaken.

In terms of first game, I think Warnado has really kind of disappointed me. It's just..blaaah.

Well i love almost every skylander but yeh look i really love Sonic boom but when i played as her she wasnt that fun she just have 1 easy to use attack for herself (screaming) and babies (they die to quik) and flying... i still like sonic boom but she is one of the less fun Skylanders.

flashwing looked cool, but totally failed to impress me. she is boring, underpowered, and looks horrible.

thought i'd like shroomboom and flameslinger

I absolutely dislike Tree Rex, but love Thumpback. His Anchor's A-Yay Path is the best!

Now for a few of mine...

Zook. I didn't think he's was that cool, 'til I gave him a try. He's pretty much UNTOUCHABLE on the Floral Defender Path, and th' WowPow just makes him even more beasty.


Double Trouble.... Same case. Channler is kinda overrated. So with his Series 2, I switched paths. Haven't looked back since. 'Nuff said.

Bouncer.... Just like the whole Skylanders series; and I truly apologize; I totally bashed, for looks. And again, just as like th' series, I played and LOVED him. And EVEN got made into legendary. B...O...S...S...

Fright Rider... Freakin' LOVE HIM~!!! <3 <3 <3 He's pretty much the new Wham-Shell! In more ways than one, unfortunately. I haven't seen his fig much around, since launch date lol I see why, too xD


And now, the hate....

Drill Sargent.... *Sighs* *Face palm* Why, Toys For Bob? Out of ALL the Skylanders, this one is just... GARBAGE!!! Sorry DS fans, but imho he's garbage.... Series 2 doesn't help, either. Nothing will change my mind. Sorry...

Hot at Head is the #1 guy I used to hate and I now like. I teased and taunted him until I saw his attacks and soul gem, and holy crap, is he awesome in my books now.

Wreaking Ball is the first nin-dragon Skylander I decided to get because I found his trailer really cute.

Lighting Rod was also very charming in his trailer, so I got him eventually, too. Same with all other non-dragons afterwards.

I wanted Zook Dead. Now, I LURV HIM!
What else.... Liked Stealth Elf, now she is just ovverrated and boring
