Okay, so I decided we have a contest to see who can come up with the best Christmas Skylander! It has to be related to Christmas in some way! I will have voting take place not too long after Christmas.

Rules:
1. It must relate to Christmas or Winter in some way
2. You must include a picture or description of the character
3. See at least the characters three main attacks, while you can include upgrades if you want
4. Include a catchphrase
5. Includes what it does when defeated
6. Include if it's a Giants or not or Lightcore or not.
7. A name! (duh!)
8. It can be a character that already exists or you can make one up
9. You can only enter one and can change as many times needed
10. When voting, you can't vote for your own.
11. No trashing other peoples ideas.

That catchphrase really is awesome, lol. Anyway, I actually came up with my own Skylander a few days ago. He's based off a gingerbread man (or rather *the* gingerbread man) and he even says Christmas in one of his catchphrases, so I thought now would be the perfect time to introduce him. I doubt I'll win the contest, but I wanted to bring him up anyway. I don't have a pic for him 'cause I only have MS Paint and I've completely forgotten how to use a scanner, so... yeah, lol. Maybe I'll do a quick crappy MS Paint pic at some point, not sure. Here's his (long) profile and I apologize if his attacks aren't explained very well and for how stupid and cliche his history is. Attacks, names of attacks, etc. are subject to change.

Name: Gingerdread Man
Gender: Dude
Type: “Normal” Skylander (not a Giant or Lightcore or anything)
Element: Magic
Defeated Animation: Rips off one of his gumdrop buttons, throws it on the ground, then crosses his arms

History: “Born” as a normal gingerbread man ready to be served as a snack to a group of Cyclops when a mysterious spell brought him to life. Now that he was suddenly life-size and alive, he wasn’t going to stand there and let himself be eaten. Therefore, he proceeded to beat the crud out of the Cyclops and escape, thanks to his newfound speed. After his getaway, he decided to become a local hero of Skylands and help out anyone who was in trouble. Eon heard of his heroics and invited him to join the Skylanders. To this day, most know better than to try to take a bite out of Gingerdread, unless they’d like their teeth knocked out by a giant candy cane. The Cyclops are especially fearful and the cookie creature is known only to them as “The Dreaded.”

Personality: He’s actually quite friendly so long as you’re not trying to eat him. He’s always cracking jokes and having fun. He enjoys going for long jogs in his spare time and gets a huge kick out of hitting things.

Secondary: Sugar Rush - Sprint forward in a dash of speed while whacking enemies with a giant candy cane

Ginger Spice - Leave a plate of cookies on the ground that enemies are drawn to. Once they get too close, the cookies explode and cause damage
Double the Calories - Dash attack lasts longer and you now wield two candy canes instead of one
Bigger ‘n Better - Size of gumdrops increases and does more damage

Ice Ice Baby - Produce a tube of sticky icing that enemies get stuck in for several seconds once shot
Bake Sale - Leave up to three exploding plates of cookies on the ground at one time
Dentist’s Nightmare - When hit directly in the face by a gumdrop, an enemy will suffer lingering effects and their health will slowly go down for several seconds

Candy Clobber *Upgrade your dash attack*
Can’t Catch Me - Dash attack never stops until you tell it to
Whack-a-Foe - Hitting an enemy with one of your candy canes while charging will now send the enemy flying. Can be used to knock an enemy into other enemies as well.
Painful Trail - While charging, leave behind sharp pieces of rock candy for enemies to step on as they follow you

Army of Men - Create a bunch of gingerbread man copies that rush in and pummel enemies for a short while before disappearing

I’ll probably come up with his stats at some point, but for now his best stat is obviously his speed, and his attack is pretty decent too. His worst stat is his defense.

-blue, purple, and pink rock candy spikes on each side of his face
-three purple gumdrop buttons on his chest

Biography: Hook was not always Hook, for you see, before he had found the magical hook he carries around he was simply refered to as a regular old frostman. Hook had always wanted to be a hero, the thing is, he did not know what it takes to be a hero. He had learned about the Skylanders and how they go on crazy fun adventures all the time. He knew in his heart that he wanted to be just like them. So, he set out for the Forbidden Cliffs to find the magical hook of the Frost. To his luck, he had found it. And once he did he felt as if he were a completely different person. And that person was a hero.

After finding the hook of the Frost, he set out to find Eon, the one who had made all of those heroes into the Skylanders. Though as soon as he gave up, a strange tall wizard approached him and asked what his name was. Hook and not known what to call himself so he went by his real name, Sherbert. The wizard laughed, and he said, "Very well then Sherbert. Rise. As you are now a Skylander." Hook looked up to see that the wizard who had found him was no other than Eon himself. Hook said, "I am no longer Sherbert the wimp. I am Hook. Hook the hero."

I suppose you can make two, but you'll have to at least try to pick one to represent your entry when voting starts, which will be not too long after Christmas. You can make two, but try to pick one to represent you.

My son has been calling him Slamba Claws hehehehe.

We hang an ornament that we want to reflect each of us every year, he really wanted a Skylander unique character one this year, so I made him one. Turns out Slam Bam repose S2 is pretty awesome for just such an occasion!!

He would be LC (Of course, look at them all!)

Power 1: Lights Out! (Whirling frenzy attack with string of LED lights)
Power 2: Hats Off! (Fills his Santa hat with Ice and uses it as a temporary bludgeoning instrument)

Christmas Powers:
Power 3: Jingle Jangle! (Shakes his bells to a Merry Jingle Bells tune, causing temporary dancing by enemy monsters, does not work on bosses)

candy cane was once a simple mega gobstopper in a box of hundreds but when some aciddently knocked the box flying candy cane was the only one to land in a box of swirly whirlies (long twisted multiflavor sweets) the person who knocked the box flying was very clumsy as you would guess and he tripped over some magic life giving morphing dust luckily the person didn't get any on him but some got on candy cane!
he instantly came to life and mixed with so many swirlys that he grew huge and two huge swirly whirlies grew from his sides and he started walking around he lifted one swirly and it shot a magical laser
he soon heard of the skylanders and joined there forces as a magic element.

Bio: FrostBite never used to be FrostBite, just Bite. It was only after falling of his island home and into the notorious CryoGenic sea. Frozen in the merky depths for many years, Bite started to contemplate his meaning in life, when he was flung from the bottom of the sea in a whirlpool and landed in the northen icecaps, only to be capture by some rather cruel cyclopses. It was then that he found the legendary ice sword, Frost. Together, they defeated the cyclopses, and began to travel the world, saving all in need.

Biography: (this speaks from the voice of master eon) Frost-Bite story is a weird one. He was made from 3 things a humongous mt. of snow on mt. Olympus, a greek warrior who accedentically stumbled into the mt. of snow, and magic and tech waste from an arkeyan factory made from arkeyans who accedentilly fell into a portal of power and where teleported there. What happend beats me, all i know i that the magic and tech acted as a combing substance and more. from that we got the great giant Frost-bite, who swore to destroy as many arkeyans as he can for waking the undead and turning them to slaves (thats why i say chop chop and other skeleton like warriors are with the arkyeans) and making the waste that turned him and tree re into monster of corse i think they were lucky they didn't melt but they would rather have there old lives they lost.

one word: awesome! this is amazing! if the dmg was high, this would be a great hybrid. you could attack from close and far. i would put te sword full y upgraded at about 40 dmg per swing, the snowballs fully upgraded at about 25 dmg (assuming they are like stumpies nuts), the snow storm at 15 dmg per quarter second, assuming its like hot heads rain, and maybe 20 dmg that the snow beast does. anyways, awesome character!

Thumpclaus (Thumpback variant, )

Attack 1: Holiday Anchor Swing: Swing decorated anchor, later upgrades add decorations that do more damage!

Attack 2: Candycane chomp: Same as regular Thumpbacks attack, only damage is increased by 3x. Devour enemies and bite them with cavity infected teeth!
Attack 3: Santa Slide: Belly slide with your chunky tummy! Later upgrades give him a Ice Sleigh, doing 5x the damage!

I couldn't' get a picture, sorry but she looks like the classic red/yellow ribboned present, with black feet and eyes which have white pupils at the top right of her eye and the rest of the eye is black. She also has a yellow ribbon.

upgrade4: icecicle spikes: Icecicles shoot of you when you are hit


Path 1: SNOWSTORM!: further develop your snowball attacks

Upgrade 1: the bigger the better!: charge your snowballs up for massive damage (medium charged 49 damage and takes 1 second to charge, fully charged 127 damage and takes about 3 seconds to charge)

Upgrade 2 :magic snow: in the air press the first attack again to controll the snowballs in the air

Upgrade3 : Snow minion: charge a snow ball to max one medium and the throw one more around the same area to create a snowman that helps you fight

Path 2: ice blocks: further develop your ice attacks

Upgrade 1: freezing combos: press a,a,b for sack slam pres a,a,z for toy tosser

Upgrade 2 :absorption: when your ice fortress disappears it leavs puddles that you tellaport to and make you temporarily bigger

Upgrade 3: Ice cabin fever: after using hot&cold enmies are frozen into cabins made out of ice

Soul gem: Decoration time!: press all attack buttons at once to spin and make christmas lights wrap up your enmies!


Backstory: Snow santa was once just a normal snowman until sant flew over head one day and accedently dropped anoter one of his sacks and a spare hat on to Snow santa but when the hat landed on his head he suddenly became alive and caught the sack. He then went all the way to the north pole to thank santa. He found kaos binding santas hands he knew he had to do somthing to save santa. Then he got the idea of using parts of himself to make snowballs and use them against him. On further investigation it was just eon in a santa coustume but he rewarded Snow santa for saving him by making him a skylander.The next day Snow santa got a letter from the REAL santa saying he is one of his helpers now for saving his brother.

Story

She was a curious dragon so she stepped through and entered Skylands! had seen her and asked if you would like to join the skylanders. Frosty was so excited and joined strait away! She now trys to join every adeventure and by trys I mean she does NOT want to go to Lava lakes railway or any other fiery place!!

Cosmetic Features :
-Green bark on his body glows in the dark, but it looks like it is without darkness, glows bright green color
-His eyes and arm cannon glow & fade through different colors, like the portal
-He appears like this in-game too

In-game features :

POWERS:
Snow Slam - like regular Shockwave slam, but snow and snowflakes come out of the ground.
Sugarplum Stempede - like regular stampede, but more powerful, and a big snowball forms around your fist.
Gift Slam - You throw a random present each time you throw, when you throw, it hurts enemies, but it drops small food items as it hits the ground.

Ill upload the stats sometime later.
