We don't have SSA, only Giants, but since there don't seem to be Giants-specific version of the adventure packs, I'm trying to pick up all of the SSA ones (plus my son wants Ghost Roaster).

Last night I was able to get the other three adventure packs at my local TRU with the BOGO 50% deal, but they said they hadn't seen Darklight Crypt in their store for months. Looking online it appears to be the hardest pack to find, but I refuse to pay scalper prices. I saw it in stock at Walmart.com right before I went to TRU, but I dind't order it in case TRU had it. When I got back from TRU, walmart.com was out of stock.

Other than paying double for it on eBay, can anyone suggest a place to order it that I might have overlooked or not come up with using Google? I don't care if it's used, as long as it is complete with all the pieces and codes, but the prices on eBay are unreasonable.

my target in memphis has a few. they pop up and then they dissappear. Its not too hard to find any of the adventure packs here. Its hit or miss every few weeks.

Walmart seems to be the place to be for the adventure packs, at least for me. So far every Walmart I've been to has averaged maybe 3/4 of the packs, with one having all of them on the shelf.

I mentioned in another thread, if you don't mind secondhand you should definitely try craigslist! Other than the few scalpers who are trying to sell them brand new, people typically let their used ones go for ~$15, and if you're lucky even cheaper. As a testament to that, I was able to score a Dark Spyro through CL for $5! Just gotta keep your eyes peeled for the deals

I'm not desperate for it, so as long as it's not been discontinued or something, then I will just be patient until I stumble across it in stock someplace or find it on Craigslist. I just don't want to wait and then find out it is hard for me to find because they stopped producing the SSA figures or sets and have it be too late.

DarthW, try looking on Amazon.com and look specifically for things sold and shipped by Amazon directly. This is what I did to pick up Dragons Peak for a friend and I only paid retail

Good luck to you DarthW and I hope your son loves . I can tell you that he is my favorite Skylander and he is very powerful so your son should enjoy playing as him. Also if your son loves strong moves, you should let him go the Skull Master path since that path is really fun and strong as well.

Thanks, GhostRoaster617. Truthfully, I would have thought that he would find the character to be too scary looking, but he saw him in the Giants strategy guide and now can't stop asking about getting him, so maybe he has finally matured enough to not think he's scary looking.

About 90% of my local stores have all their S:SA stock in the back.

Darklight Crypt is the only adventure pack I don't see on the shelves in MN. I'm not actively looking for it, but when I see a display I check to see if all are available.

That's what I've noticed in my area, but I also know that inventory can vary with shipments, so the next truckload might have several that will just sit on their shelves (assuming it is still shipping).

I will keep that in mind as an option. I'll try to check the OTHER Target in town first and maybe my local Gamestop. Most retailers don't seem to be showing it in stock online, but I know that doesn't always reflect what is on their shelf in stores.

What part of the country are you in? I'm in the Salem, Oregon area.

my toys r us, target, wal mart, and meijer all have at least 3 of each adventure pack.

I live in a town with two targets, two walmarts, one best buy, one tru, and three game stops. Most of the adventure packs have remained abundant over the last year. I would say dark light and pirate seas, have become increasingly harder to find though, especially after the thanksgiving sales. I'm sure I could still find it at at least 3 of the stores.

I haven't been to my local target for ages, but in early November they had HEAPSSS.

I found one mixed in on the peg that was for Giants character 3 packs today at Target. w00t!

I have a sealed one sitting on my desk. Most stores near me only get one or two per shipment though.
