Seriously, Hot Dog could come out tomorrow, and could come out in a month. We've seen some uberfast shipments from the time of the official mock-up that lasted approximately a day or two between what we're seeing now and the item first surfacing on eBay, and we've seen a mock-up sit dormant for weeks before any notice of an in-store version surfaced. There is truly no use speculating, because history has already shown that it's random who will end up being right.

EDIT: Checked the Gamestop website, says 1st January.

^ I spoke with GameStop yesterday after pre-ordering this battlepack and they confirmed that the Jan 1st date was NOT real and is only a placeholder on their website... he said they still don't have a date yet!!

Just to reignite the speculation of a wave 3 before X-mas.

At about 1800 eastern in Virginia I made a stop at my local TRU. I looked around at the Skylanders on the wall to see whats for sale and it seems like the shelves are slowly getting empty. The only skylanders available to purchase, Giants wise, are Bouncer, Legendary Bouncer, and Swarm. All the Crushers are gone and yes Tree Rex is just a starter pack release. Now moving into the starter packs there were only 3-5 starter packs of each variant and this is to include the Wii System bonus bundle. Now for regular skylanders I counted maybe about 2-3 of each "wave 2" released skylander and took note of the open cage/basket that was full to the top of Legendary Stealth Elfs. In that basket were roughly 30 stealth elfs left along with a mix of other first game and some second game skylanders.

Now my main point is compared to Thanks Giving/ Black Friday "display" stock and what they have available now seems like there has not been a shipment of skylanders since. So can it be possible that the next "new" shipment of skylanders contain wave 3? Now thinking about what I saw and to now, along with college work, I completely spaced and didn't bother to ask a customer associate about new shipments. If possible can someone verify the next shipment and try and verify a shipment cue of whats to come out before Christmas?

I do recall an individual posting in here about calling a TRU and being "whispered" to check the shipping manifest. Maybe there is a connection? Or maybe I am just hunting unicorns.... Anyway have a wonderful evening everyone.

Seeing the same thing here in Atlanta TRUs. They have a fair number of the 3 wave 1 giants, and some lightcores, but not much else. There is no question they will be recieving more soon, since Activision said they would have enough to meet demand this Christmas season, the only quesiton is will it be wave 3, or more of the same? Come on wave 3 . . .

the only thing that ganna make me curious sonce the launch of wave 2 there were few hot heads i only managed to get the last one will it be the same with thumback or eye brawl who do u think will be hard to get eye brawl or thumback im thinking thumback since everyone likes him and whales

Can't we just enjoy what we have? We're lucky Wave 2 even came out as early as it did. Last year Wave 3 didn't come until Mid-January, I don't expect it this year to come anytime before Mid-December or Early-January.

But, I do hope it is just before the holidays so I can pick some up before all the little bratty 7 year olds open their Starter Packs and come to Toys R Us literally climbing on the shelf and taking 20 minutes to decide which figure to get and end up picking them all and breaking them and drooling all over them and then a lady comes in with 5 kids all the same age STOP HAVING SO MANY KIDS PEOPLE. CAN WE JUST PICK PUT OUR SKYLANDERS IN PEA-
