I'm not exactly sure what is in the Scorpion Striker Battle Pack because it doesn't list the contents. I am not sure if this has been posted before but it is available for pre-order on game stop. I ordered one guess I will find out whats in it later LOL

Oh neat. I'd assume the actual stores should also be taking preorders then, meaning you can pay in full now and not worry about it later.

I wonder though..1/1/13. That's a Tuesday, and I don't really see stores picking up their usual pace until a few days after the new year. Wonder if that's just a "we need to put in a date, so how about the 1/1/13?" instead of the actual date.

If it IS, could we then see Wave 3 then? Maybe on that Friday-Sat-Sun?

I bet it is a place holder date. I was at gamestop this afternoon and asked one of the guys working about next wave. He said before Christmas. I have to believe we will see this before Christmas. I went ahead and pre-ordered mine on-line just in case. I will stop and check to see if we can pre-order at stores, if we can I will just get it their.

That's Gamestops default date for items with an unconfirmed release date. Earlier this year, they had Hitman: Absolutions release date as 1/1/13.

Rumored to be in it were Hot Dog and something else, a S2 oldlander. Not 100% on that.

I think I read someplace it was rumored to be Hot Dog, S2 Zap, and the scorpion striker which is kind of like the dragonfire cannon another battle pack....I wish I knew the saver code before I ordered Oh Well

I'm going to stop at a Gamestop, after work on Monday and see if I can pre-order there. If I can do that then I will just cancel my order online. I don't want to wait for it to get shipped to me in the mail. However, I don't want to take the chance of having to hunt for it.

exactly why i preordered it i rather pay alittle extra and beat the scalpers to it then trying to hunt all over the city for it. this way i am guaranteed to get one

Just ordered mine in store. The lady there is a huge fan and she said she saw a commercial on the games top TV that confirmed hot dog and s2 zap. Not sure who has the molten hotdog exclusive yet

As if there was any doubt, we can 100% confirm Zap and Hot Dog in it. I wonder though..Molten Hot Dog seems like the perfect thing to add which is what everyone is saying. Maybe he'll be an exclusive at another store?

I'm thinking either TRU or Target. I'm leaning to Target however. Which I despise because they never keep enough of their exclusives in stock. Hopefully he will be a wide release and will be easy to find. I must have molten hot dog.

I was actually thinking it might be good for Best Buy. They haven't gotten anything yet for giants (outside of the loot bag for picking up the game) and I'd say this'd be the perfect thing for them to have.

Although, then there's also the fact they could have MHD in a single pack or something.

Best Buy as a company is struggling very badly. It could do them a lot of good to have an exclusive however, it might not be best practices for TFB and Activision. I think we will see MHD in a single pack.

Oh yeah I forgot about that, I came to S:SA after most everything was out.

I just don't see BB getting anything exclusive to them. I say it's either Target or in a single pack everywhere. Now when I say everywhere keep in mind that don't mean wide release.

Sweet I will have a SA:zap to sell I guess. So excited to get hot dog, I will take the new zap since it comes with it.

If you look at zap, he is one of the priciest Skylanders. You'd easily be able to sell a zap.

On a lighter note, both Thumpback and Hot Dog were in the new Skylanders commercial, so there is a chance that indicates a pre-Christmas release.

Love Zap... but that artist... man I just.... I don't know. Not so good, in my opinion. Hot Dog though... yeah. Awesome. So glad I have a part time job at Gamestop, makes it easy to look through the shipments for variants. Before anyone can say it: No, I don't scalp (preorders always get theirs first, company policy, even if it takes them two weeks to pick it up).
