Scorpion Striker Battle Pack Pre-Oder on Gamestop RIGHT NOW!!!

Called my local store and they have nothing for pre-order in the stores so it must be a online offer only.

The manager also said that when they have dates like 1/1/13 for realease dates it's just a hold date so they can take pre-orders. The release date could be in Decemeber OR January.

Have we even confirmed what all is included in this? I mean, I did just preorder one. But is Hot Dog in it?

No clue to be honest with you though.

As above I have read that hot dog and zap s2 are in it but no "official" word that I know of.

I'll wait until we get confirmation if it comes with Molten or not. Gamestop seems to enjoy gobbling up the exclusives.

I hope molten and all those variants are easy to find.

Hahah, well you never know. Considering the fact that this is pre-orderable at GameStop, leads me to believe that it might have a variant like the Golden Dragon Cannon. It's not like we have any other info on Molten Hot Dog yet. This definitely makes the most sense to me.

I sent Gamestop an email asking for more details if they had any. I'll let you guys know when/if I get a response. I asked what characters were included and if anything was exclusive to them.

If I had to guess though, I'd agree with henryszuch. I think if anything was exclusive it would say in the title/description/link, like it did for the Golden Dragonfire Cannon Battle Pack. Keeping fingers crossed though!

There is nothing apparent in game coding from what I understand to support an alternate version of the scorpion striker like there was for the dragon fire cannon, this does look like an opportunity to offer Molten Hotdog like others have speculated also keep in mind that a lot of consumers were not aware of Royal DT being a GameStop exclusive until the day of release. The description does not share what characters are in the pack yet so it is a possibility that seems likely.

i preordered it in store tonight while running errands. $5 put down just to make sure we don't have to hunt. And no shipping cost.

I will have to go and order mine at store also. That way I can get it right away when it comes out and not have to wait for shipping.

Pre ordered mine in store too paid full price just in case I'm broke when it comes out.

Just got a note on Facebook from Gamestop apparently, this is going to be at Gamestop First according to the release in January. Looks great can't wait. Going to pre-order mine this week.

Well, that settles it. No Molten or exclusive figure to Gamestop. However, it puts me back in the side of not seeing another wave until after Christmas.

I am excited. I hope another wave don't come until then, I am broke as a joke. Christmas and being off work for medical reasons have drained my bank account faster than release day for Giants.

Zap looks cool so does Hot Dog. All of this talk of a Hot Dog, makes me want a Hot Dog too eat.

I want this, but I'll wait and see where Molten Hot Dog shows up first.

I'm thinking Target.... which means low stock after the first week or so. I hope it's not store exclusive or if it is it's a TRU exclusive. Say what you want about TRU they tend to do a good job at keeping their exclusives in stock. Atleast around where I live anyways.

Also we will see the flood of these Pre-Order sales go up on Evilbay for 50-60 bucks in a few days. When they most likely will end up being like the first battle pack and be everywhere.

I'm not taking that chance though and will be pre-ordering mine.

All skylanders will be popular not just Thumpback or Eye Brawl. Either way they are going to sell.

The only odd thing with the late release is how they blatantly advertise some of the nonexistant Skylanders. Hot Dog is prominently displayed on the Lost Islands intro screen, and Thumpback has at least one TV commercial that I've seen where he's the main "spokesman."

Or maybe that IS their plan - to force parents to go out searching for Skylanders that they'll never be able to find until they just give up and buy whatever they CAN track down. Then they'll have to go out AGAIN after the holidays because they "didn't get the right ones" and buy MORE figures.


Whereas TRU can't seem to figure out from one hour to the next if they have Thumpback "in stores" or not. Given how they show Hot Head, I suspect the answer is a resounding no:
