my last comment on my michigan only black friday deals i said that we should make a sticky for us michiganders

black friday deals are pretty nation-wide for the most part. The only thing Michigan has that other states may not is Meijer. Also, another to point out is that... well... its not black friday no more. And cyber monday was yesterday.

I say yes because last year, I never saw anyone talk about Michigan. Ever!!! I'm glad to know I'm not alone lol

See it kind of ends up being not fair to other citys and what not though. Honestly, it'd have been really neat if we could have a mini forum dedicated to different states which would help people out locally with hunting and things.

The best thing really do do is just either have a thread for michigan, or to post in the sightings thread on the merch forum.

Fellow michigander here. We might not get this stickied but we can keep it going to help other look. And on tnat note if anyone is close to the jackson MI area and is still looking for hothead then check out the Walmart down by westwood mall. I was there yesterday and they had 6 in stock on the shelves that I could see.

Lawl bump. You pretty much had to get to TRU the first day it was out otherwise they're all gone. But for now you might be out of luck

Yes! Picked up Eye-Brawl, Thumpback, and HotDog 3-pack today in Woodhaven GameStop (downriver area). I went in at lunch and asked if they got in any new Skylanders....the worker was as giddy as I was when he said he just opened a box and "didn't think these guys were supposed to be out yet". He did a price scan to see if he was allowed to sell them yet, and we were good to go! So I decided to press my luck and ask about the sidekicks! He had them! I asked them how I could get one and he said there was a problem earlier in "the system" with them, and that if he scanned them they scanned at $1000....ok so what about the buy $30 worth of Skylanders promotion? He said that it started tomorrow. He said if I brought in my receipt from todays purchases, that he would honor it for tomorrow! Wow!! a helpful employee that didn't treat me like I was a moron...I just hope they honor my receipt tomorrow. I can provide pics if u guys don't believe me, but I'm 37yrs old.....no reason to make stuff up. I had one happy 5yr old when I picked him up from school and told him someone was sitting in his car seat.....

which TRU do you go to? i go to okemos, even tho it is 20 min away. also, i almost NEVER go hunting; i went to the lansing walmart for the first time on saturday.

Oh, maybe we haven't crossed paths! Although.... you could find me at nearly any retailer in the greater Lansing area at one time or another, so who knows?

I do go to the Okemos TRU - it's the only one even remotely close any more. Fortunately, several of the employees there are awesome enough that it makes up for the lack on the other side of town.

As far as Skylanders retailers go, we've got one TRU, three Targets, seven Gamestops, two Best Buys, and three Walmarts. And technically six Meijers, if you're willing to count those as legitimate sources. I'm probably missing a retailer, too. So we're definitely not hurting there.

Which places do you regularly check, or have you been checking?

The east lansing gamestop on spartan campus, the meijer by meridian, and occasionally the okemos tru. Which ones do you check?

My mom wont take me unless she has something to do that gamestop is on the way to.

goldbashmaster, you're a scalper, get off this site. No noe is interested in buying your ridiculous over priced figures when we can find them at retail ourselves. This site and this topic specifically are to help us in Michigan find these figures in store so no one has to resort to buying them from scum like yourself.

Walmarts in the greater Lansing area got the Giants this afternoon/evening. I managed to find two that were in a different location that even employees didn't realize were still hanging around at the West Lansing location, but that was after checking and failing at Okemos, Eastwood, and Charlotte (although the latter sounded like they had not gotten them yet, but expect them in the morning).

No luck so far for me. Either my local Walmart didn't get any in or they were cleaned out already. Their display is a mess so it's kinda hard to tell for sure. Also checked with a few Gamestop's and they all said that no shipments came in today.

One Gamestop in my area apparently got them today, but they cleared out promptly. The kid who works there is and has been a total ass hat throughout this release. I've found a STARK contrast between the best and worst Gamestop employees across the seven greater Lansing stores.

One of the Westland Gamestop employees said that TRU apparently got in a shipment last week, but that's the first I've heard of them showing up at any TRUs.

Also, when did MSU get an on-campus Gamestop? Wasn't there when I graduated 10 years ago as far as I know.

If anyone is looking for lightcore shroomboom they have about 8 of him at the Walmart in Jackson. I'm here right now posting from my phone. 8 LC Shroomboom, no Hotheads, Thumpbacks or Eye brawls though

i found Eye-Brawl and Thumpback at Walmart in Burton Today. Waiting for Sunday for family Xmas to see if i get a Gamestop girft card and then when i find the Scorpion Striker Battle Pack i will use it for that. I'm from your time frame, so you'd better not be feeling old. The Gamestop is where the Blockbuster used to be on Grand River. It's only been in for a couple of years.

Yeah, i am going tomorrow. I dont think a lot of people go there for skylanders, though......never seen someone looking at them, and i go there kinda often. Maybe once every two weeks?

I'm in the greater Detroit area. Just got LC Shroomboom on Amazon. Been to 5 gamestops yesterday with no luck on anything. Had to buy multiples of characters to get the Sidekicks;( hoping to be able to exchange them soon...
