Anybody gotten this yet? It's a bit pricey for the small number that it holds but it is a neat little piece that I know my kids would love.

I am thinking of getting them 2 each to display their favorites.

Wondering if anybody has gotten it and has any other pics or reviews.....

It's a static display - I could make it "work" with anything if I wanted to.

I don't have this, but I saw one for sale in TRU and thought it was pretty cool. We keep our skylanders in one of those boxes made for Christmas ornaments with different levels and dividers and stuff - but this is a cute little display. I would love to know if other people like it.

How much is this? I'm afraid to ask as the battle arena was like 40 bucks.

EDIT: Looked on TRU.com and it's $19.99 and the arena is still $40. Might buy one or two of these, which would then draw me into buying the battle arena. Skylanders shut up and take my money!

Went by TRU today to take a look at this item. Looking at the box in person gives me a better idea of what it's like....it also looks to be made of the same plastic as the Walmart Glow In the Dark portals. I am not saying it glows in the dark......just that the plastic appears to be a semi translucent grey. Seems kind of basic....pretty neat but not $20 neat. I'd buy a few for $10 but that be about it.

With their Buy One Get One 40% off, that make buying 2 total $32.....still a bit higher than I'd want to pay. Specially since the neat thing would be to have a bunch to display all the figures.....that be quite pricey.

But looking at this item is giving me ideas of a display I might try to make for my kids......

Yes I have the Battle Arena and got this free when i did.

I see there are circles on top where the skylanders should be placed but is there the same thing on the bottom? i cant tell from the pic

why 6? it looks like 6 would be one too many and 4 would be one too less. it doesn't have to be an even number.

asdfghjkl I just love how the battle arena part lights up though. It reflects off of my other displays and it just glows~~~

I actually purchased the Battle Arena in the beginning, thinking it would unlock in-game content for some reason. Once I got home and realized it was merely a display and nothing more, I was too lazy to go return it so I said, "Eh, maybe I'll get a bigger house one day and I can use it for display in the future". Now I might as well buy the Giant Coliseum for the fun of it. $40 for the Arena was ridiculous already but $20 for something that small though?! C'mon Activision, why do you want my money so bad?!

Will the Battle Arena display trigger the Lightcore effects on the Skylanders on the outter layers? If it does, that'd almost be worth the huge price tag to me.

No, the arena itself has no Tesla unduction qualities.

And Activision would get a licensing fee out of these products but another company produces them.

It looks pretty cool, but it doesn't seem very practical to display everything I'd like to.

I wish they just put out some Skylanders branded shelving already, I'd buy it up.

No the bottom display area is smooth plastic. Strangely enough the same molded circles are underneath on the bottom of the whole piece though. The bottom level is kind of a tight fit for most of the figures, and you can fit more than 3 on top if you choose to. If you have active cats or dogs don't expect this to stay standing.
