Got myself a GITD Fright...had to gegt the starter pack, although not really fussed...no idea what to do with the extra Portal, but GITD Fright Rider, Huzzah...also got Crusher and my golden Cannon.


Now..how to keep Fright in int condition *ponder*

I found the Legendary Triple today. Let's just say though, I went out way further than I wanted to. Yeah, it took over an hour to get there... Beauts this time though, like them way better than the first four and actually prefer Legendary Ignitor.

I love the Legendary 3 pack. So glad that JetVac worked out better than the pics we saw early on.

I cant shake my frustration that they did not make Slam Bam's face game accurate this time too!

Picked up one of the Blind pack Dog Tags today.

I got Hot Dog, looks great, have pic of character on front and name and elemental symbol on the back.

Picked it up at Toyworld for $4.99 so assume they will be a bit cheaper elsewhere.

Though not sure its worth buying a pack if you have a specific character in mind as you have about 1 in 44 chance of getting them!

Anyone heard news of Wave 2 trickling out? I called my EB to clarify putting Professor Layton on order (one day before it comes out ) and they didn't mention Wave 2- I didn't ask, but I know if they had it in they would probably tell me... Even they know how much I love Sprocket.

By the way, I figured out why L-Jet-Vac looks better than the regular, his left pupil is facing the direction the vacuum is aimed- the regular just has it staring forward.

Release date is set for the 29/11 in EB's system. As a rule stock will arrive 3-5 days prior to this date but will not be sold until the release date, it's delivered early for the sake of getting preorders sorted etc. If you haven't done so already go in and put $10 down on each character you are chasing and you will get a text message once they are available or if the street date breaks.

That's already taken care of, but I'm curious to know if any outlet here is going to sell it sooner like TRU and Walmart and Target in America are.

More likely that Big W or Harvey Norman will break street date than to get an altered date. I know from experience that Target have a fail safe in their system to stop a street dated item being able to be scanned before the date, so not likely there. EB have strict orders when it comes to street dates but will sell something the moment it breaks somewhere else. There are actually heavy fines attached to early sale of street dated items and penalties for companies like not getting their stock until after release (like one company has had imposed due to repeated breaks), especially after what happened last year with CoD-MW3

Any word of Legendary Stealth Elf here? Or is it just USA/Canada at this point?

Little update, Leg Stealth Elf is o the system, checked it today, we've also got the Light up Portal and figure stand ($70) think every TRU has it as well.

Any indication when they will be in stores?

Nah, it's on the system, just no open order or any info, now I know it's on i'll check from time to time, I can't see it being long until it's out though but you never know.

Awesome. I've sent maybe 5 emails to TRU now about it and I've had everything from no release date yet to the item you're looking for does not exist and will not exist. Even had one of the emails remain unanswered. They should give a job at their head office doing that instead, you're much more help

Dunno, 30th maybe? That is the date the chains (Target, Big W, et al) are saying.

The thing is, this EB had a good stock of Wave One five days before the game was out. If it were coming in this week at all I would expect them to have the shipment by now
Hopefully the 30th is correct, but I plan to wait till my EB get it anyway as I don't feel like hunting a lot and would rather just tick off the pre-order list(unless I go to various stores to hunt for new chases).

My local EB said the release date changed to December, and they hope it means first week.
If we have to wait this long again i think ill just grab them from the US!

Target had the Light core triple packs and the Battlegrounds starter kit (standard DT)

Our Store just got all the plush stuff in, big ones with the portal, little bag clips and the medium sized ones..don't really look too exciting to be honest.

I found a few copies of Skylanders Battlegrounds at my local Target so expect to see them crop up in places now.

I just wish EB Games got their act together and organised to get the exclusive version here...

I contacted the hotline for EB a few days back, they have no details on the iOS pack coming in. Unfortunately I was a little late calling and the buying team were gone for the day so they couldn't find out if it was coming at all, and tbh until now I'd forgotten about it (moving house). Their hotline number is 13 39 30 if someone has the time to ask the question.

Best way to contact them is via Facebook, the official customer service page you always end up with a generic response.

Checked our system again today, not sure what went off but Leg Elf looks to be in some stores, not ours though, not sure if it's a error or not, i'll keep a close eye on it, although we're finally getting sydney monopoly huzzah

Which state has them in stock?

Can't remember they don't show names just the store numbers, whoever number 2 is apparently had 105 in stock, as I said not sure if it's an error or not it possibly is, but as soon as I see we have some in then i'll know it's not.

Just an update on the wave 2 situation, I'm guessing most stores will be experiencing the same. They do not appear to be at EBs warehouses yet but are expected early this week. From there they will need to be sent out to stores, so about a day for that to happen. Fingers crossed by Wednesday or Thursday we will see shiny new figures available.

They are worth waiting for, folks, trust me...

And an update on Stealth Elf...I have one mwhahahaha

EB Games have the trading card starter packs now - I picked mine up yesterday.

Looks like wave two is almost here, looked at targets new catalogue and they have the iOS pack and wave two in it, looking like Thursday is release day, will have to check what we have tomorrow.

No L-Stealth Elf on this side of the country today. Contacted all 4 TRU stores.

One thing I was told and was wondering if you could clarify Sircopycat, lady I spoke to at one store said the skylanders don't come in with normal stock, they come directly from the supplier as a separate delivery. Is this correct?

Did manage to find an iOS pack at target on Sunday, but left it in hopes that EB will get the RDT version.

They do as far as I know, the first lot of giants did, had 5 huge pallates of them, as well as all ohr normal pallettes, wasnt a fun time then.

I went to the Joondalup store yesterday, told me they got a couple of pallets of stock. I asked if he would check for L.Stealth elf he said that he couldn't but they would be unpacked by early afternoon, I went back a 4pm still not unpacked. still wouldn't check for me.

It's kind of understandable that might not know about skylanders. But is really that hard to check if they have stock of something. I really just feels like bad customer service to me.
