We only had 2 winners from this forums.

3rd place Runya_Isamu. (from dS)
2nd place EMPEROR KAOS. (from dS - well sort of, formerly smilie )
1st place KonKaveKitty.

I also did some drawings for prizes, but nobody from here won those either. Those prizes went to KonKaveKitty (Machine of Doom book), Axe (a Skylanders Giants strategy guide), and candybox307 (a glittery Hothead).

Monetary prizes will be given to paypal accounts in mid-February. Artwork prizes will be given ASAP, starting with 1st place and going downward.

Thank you everyone who participated! We had over 30 separate entries! I'm now overflowing with Glumshanks-san artwork :3 I appreciate it <3.

And thank you to the judges who deliberated over who should win. Those judges were: TheFreezingScholar, dahliapetals, and Gameover.

Anywho~

I wanted to start up a little art contest because my Glumshanks art collection is......severely lacking. To say the least o.o So read on if you like to draw and like prizes!

RULES ::

1. You MUST compete with a full coloured drawing. It can be any medium: coloured pencil, digital, etc.
2. The drawing must be of GLUMSHANKS (You know, my beloved troll from Skylanders). He can be doing anything (although preferably not dying or hurting or anything that would make me cry rivers..........). It can have other characters in it too, but focus on Glumshanks, yesss?

3. You can submit up to 2 drawings, no more than that.
4. I must have at least 8 entrants (that's 8 people, not 8 entries) before I'm giving out any prizes.
5. You must have fun. MUST. It's criminal if you don't.

JUDGING CRITERIA ::
Judging will be done by an off-forum panel of judges that I choose, so no bias will happen or anything.
Judging will be based on creativity, originality, technique, and presentation~.

DEADLINE ::
December 25th~ That's plenty of time for you to think up what to draw and draw it VERY nicely. lol I want naice fanarts. <3
Winners announced January 1.

PRIZES ::

3rd - A very clean lineart of any subject that you want, but no background.

2nd - 10$ and a lined/coloured character of your choice. No background though.

1st - 20$ and a full blown artwork of your choice including background and as many characters as you can cram onto canvas (within reason ).

AND a mystery prize or 2 that will go in a drawing for any contestant, and I'll just put all the names on paper and draw them at random. So that adds more fun!

A drawing sample so you know what kind of art you'll get. This is a WIP art though but you'll see the quality. It's good enough, yes?

What other sites did you post the competition on?

A few of my own, which I don't give out names/links to since most are work sites. And then a couple other random sites like a few artsy ones.

Don't worry, I'll put yours in. I was snowed out of electricity because of the snowstorm here over Christmas. So I'm just now getting to close this up anyhow.

But gawsh I love yours ;u; It's so beautiful.

I'm not a judge either though so.... lol >.>;;; I'm getting people who know nobody from any of the places I ran this at to judge so there's no way people get picked for being popular and all that jazz. Purely based on the art.

I'll give an extra few days for the judging since I was in late. So winners will be announced ASAP, prizes will be started in February (It's down to a few days for one of my team's small storybooks and I'm finishing up art for that first in January :3 )
