I thought it would be a cool idea to list the harder to find figures from each wave as they come out. Wave 2 will be out in the UK any day soon, So, who has been the hardest figure for you all to find from wave 1?

Nobody. Stock is absolutely perfect. Wave 2, Hot Head and LC Jet Vac. (Got them both yesterday)

Granite Crusher for wave 1, and Hot Head for wave 2

no. granite is common in my area.

Wave 1 seemed to be in stock plenty all over. I think the one I saw that seemed to be most uncommon was Fright Rider, although by uncommon I mean that even though he wasn't at every store I visited, he was still in stock somewhere else.

Wave 2 when it first came out, Hot Head and LC Jet-Vac were the most uncommon. I saw a few more Hot Heads on Black Friday, but I've yet to see another LC Jet-Vac anywhere.

Flashwing single packs are pretty rare in my area. I've only seen one.

pop fizz is rare in my city.... and for wave 2 hot head is very very hard to find!

For some reason s2 terafin is very hard to find. I've only seen the one I got and one other. For wave two, LC jet vac. Again, not sure why, but s2 bash. Never seen one

Basically the singles not in triple packs are a little harder to find. Hot head and LC Jet-Vac were very hard to find pre-black Friday.

I think the Rock variants and the glitter ones take the title for rarest figure. Sparkle Hot Head being the rarest.

of the in-game variants, I would say that Royal Double Trouble is the hardest to get a hold of. However, im not sure if thats wave 1 or 2

He's Wave 2.5. I agree that S2 terrafin is hard to find. I've also only seen one S2 hex, and I've never seen a S2 Flameslinger.

Hmm... I just realized I haven't seen a S2 Terrafin in a good bit of time.

Everything that isn't a reposed figure or a reposed figure Lightcore (or a Giant bar Hot Head). Those are the only ones I've found IRL.

Only one hard to find is Hot Head.

series 2 terrafin? Meh, he's not rare. and even if he's getting harder to find as of recently, there is supposed to be a Terrafin, Slam Bam, Fright Rider triple pack. DOesnt help if you have any of those already, but its coming.

Flashwing was a wave 2 skylander.

He was at Target, and still is.

For me, S2 Slam Bam for series 1, Hot Head and LC Jet Vac for Wave 2. I have only seen one LC JV and that was today.

LC Jet Vac is hard? I have seen 20 in my area

I have yet to see a LC Jet Vac where I live.

I have never seen a LC jet vac in store, thanks to online shopping on TRU, I got mine, I never saw hot head either, but I got him from TRU.com, flashwing is rare, but she had her common days (only 1 day was she common here) sprocket is common, crusher is getting easier to find, still never seen a granite crusher, hoping to get one for Christmas, bouncer and l bouncer are the most common giant and generally the most common skylander in all the stores around here, swarm is common too, pop fizz is moderately rare/common, sort of in the middle, I don't see too many fright riders, chill is very common, and the shroomboom pack is very common too

My Gamestop must have had 30 Golden Dragonfire Cannon Packs the last time I was there.

i remember when i found my flashwing.
i was walking around target and i was looking at a series 2 gill grunt. i wanted to buy it since he looked pretty cool.
something caught my eye, i thought it was prism break cause of the crystals. (the gill grunt was on the portal since i wanted to see his WOWPOW)
the second i noticed flashwing i knocked gill grunt off the portal by surprise and jammed it on the portal. best weekend ever.

I found my flashwing sitting on the wii u gamepad at walmart. I thought the person was trying to tell me something.

It varies from area to area, of course, but from periodic visits to the Wal-Mart/Target/Best Buy combo at the local mall, I tracked down everyone that wasn't a Legendary without ever needing to rely on on-line shopping. Got most of the Legendaries on a spending spree at the New York Toys R Us a few weeks back (since they were having the "spend $100 get a free Wham-Shell promotion, and he was the only one from the original series that had forever eluded me - and, as such, the only Skylander I ever "cheated" to obtain).

Granite Crusher was probably the least common one - but since I picked him up day one from Target I wasn't really paying attention. They might have had a few on occasion after that, but I never really noticed the store STOCKED with them until a few days ago (and they sold out pretty quickly, to get replaced by legions of Lightcore Jet-Vacs).

Hot Head took a few days to track down after release - probably because the first one I had I relinquished to someone much younger than I am who was eyeing the only figure in the store at the time. He needed it more than me.


But other than Hot Head's status of being the only "new" Giant and the lack of a convenient TRU, I've had no problems tracking everyone down. I'm ready for Wave 3 (not that we'll see it for awhile), because I'm just about at the point that I'd need to start buying things like a NORMAL Dragonfire Cannon (or spending big bucks on a Dark Spyro or Royal Double Trouble) just to find something new to add!

Now? Only LC and Only ever seen 1 of each. The rarest figures of anybody though are and all of the chase variants.

I cant seem to find a single HH or LC JV, i've been really lucky for all of my figures so far, getting each one i've been looking for within 2-4 days of release.
