Was just in my Wal-mart and haven't seen this posted anywhere. The multiple bags of chips now have a new promotion on them. They are giving away Hot Head it says on the package 1 every 15 minutes. Apparently there is a code inside and you go online to see if you have won one. Also inside is a $15.00 coupon off the price of the Starter pack. This must be the rumored Holiday promotion we have heard about. Thought I would post it to keep everyone in the know. i wonder if the coupon will work while the Starter Kits are on sale at multiple retailers. Already got mine Thursday night, but for other people hope this helps. I am guessing that when this promotion ends we will see the new sidekick promotion probably about the same time as the last. Happy Hunting....and if you take advantage I hope everyone wins a Hot Head!

LOL, that bag is awesome. I already have HotHead but that's too cool. Is the coupon for $5 or $15? You said $15 but the pic on the website looks like it says $5. Not that it really matters, I have the starter pack already. Just curious...

Yeah Kesrael I noticed that too, but on the bags I saw at Wal Mart it said $15.00 coupon. Also in the rules on the website, it says the giveaway on Hot Head is one every 10 minutes, but on the packs it says one every 15 minutes. Not sure what is up with that, but interesting promotion.

I think it would have probably stated "Special Hot Head" like it did for the Flocked Stump Smash.

Now what's interesting is that the official rules state it's a "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure" character, but it contradicts itself in the next sentence where it says the approx. retail value is $14.99 (the price of a giant)

Looks like there's 3, 024 of them to give out. I'll give it a try when I see the bags. I already have Hot Head but hey..free is free. In the least I can grab one for someone else in my family or a friend looking for Hot Head.

Same here but you never know they might end up sending a glitter hothead. I can always sell it if its nothing special.

To be fair, in this community it's very hard not to remain skeptical when new information emerges. Pretty much all the info that's funneled to us comes from random users..very rarely do any "official" sources ever reveal anything, and even then it's usually just to confirm something that we learned about before.

Of course, this would have been small time compared to our other two fan favorite hoaxes. Traditionally though, "pics or it didn't happen" isn't used to troll anyone- it's simply to provide a source for a claim. No harm in either camp which is why it's kind of surprising to me when people say pics or it didn't happen and then the other person gets super offended at it- if some random guy came up to you on the street and told you that the Queen of England turned into a robot, you wouldn't believe him right away would you?

johnnyb provided a link (I admit I was looking for a link on google, but nothing besides the SSA promo was coming up) so no harm done. Now we just get to wait for people to see these things in the wild and we can all rejoice and get fat eating cornchips as was told in the days of old.

I sent in for 4 of those today. Based on the past Frito Lay promotions, I think my chances of winning 1 - 4 times are VERY good.

There are only 3,024 prizes?? That's only 60 winners per state and the promo is only going on until Dec. 15th?? Short promo and will seem very hard to win a prize.

I check our Walmart and even the Grocery store here in NY and there isn't anything on the shelves yet. Both places were selling the packs for $6.49.

I bought a bag today, from Walamrt, and won a Hot Head - 8-10 weeks for delivery. After filling in the "claim your prize" info it says you have to wait 24 hours before playing again.

Have not seen them in MN yet.

i won today went to my local krogers and grabbed a bag. It was a winner 8 to 10 weeks delivery.

Still haven't found them.. Even though I have a Hot Head, I just want to see if you can get a Sparkle Hot Head from this.

Bizarre that it is just a normal Hot Head...

eh, I have Hot Head so I'm not too interested in this promotion, but considering most people are winning I may give it a shot.

I already got me a hot head, but i'm gonna do quite a few. I wanna do another custom in the style of my FSS custom.

If I get one, I may articulate its arms, or experiment with the LightCore.
