There are so many different ways to get jet vac! If you buy the starter pack (not portal owners) thats one. Legendary three pack, thats two. If you want all the lightcores, thats three. If you want battlegrounds, thats four! I don't think that anyone really wants four Jet Vacs!

I agree. This is a place where Activision dropped the ball. I see putting all the same characters in the starter packs. Well, minus the 3ds and punch pop fizz. I'll give them the pass on the legendary ones. Lightcores should have gone a different way besides Jet-Vac or a different one in the Legnedary three pack. Now where I get really mad is Battlegrounds. I am okay with Royal Double Trouble in the Gamestop one. However, why put Jet-Vac and Cynder in it. Why not put other ones in the pack. They are doing nothing but losing sales when they do this.

Hey, someone may collect 4 Jet-Vacs but that's 4 chances to get one! I only have 3 as I got the P.O.P.

Hence, I'm getting Battlegrounds as a b-day present and then there is either Legendary or LightCore to get next....

I completely agree on the battlegrounds part! Even cynder is ok, but just another character other than jet vac! Maybe fright rider since he has no lightcore or variant. Then they would have to replace cynder because they can't have two undead in the pack. Lightcore jet vac just makes me sick, another chachter should have got it. It wouldn't have been that bad if they hadn't put him in the legendary pack. Now, even people that don't get battlegrounds but want all the lightcores and legendaries will have three. I'm actually probably going to sell mine if I get battlegrounds.

People who buy the Starter Packs.
I have the Glow Starter, the Wii Starter, the 3DS Starter and the PS3 Starter. I DON'T WANT ANOTHER FREAKIN JET-VAC OR CYNDER!

Lol why did you buy so many starters?

Glow Starter: GITD Cynder and Portal
Wii Starter: Because I needed to wait for the Glow (It didn't come out in Aus and I didn't want to wait for Jet-Vac)
PS3 Starter: Gnarly
3DS Starter: Punch

Besides, majority will buy the 3DS Starter for Punch anyway and end up with an extra Cynder.
Even if the situation isn't bad for you it could have been better for everyone else. Add in two different Skylanders. Cynder and Jet-Vac WILL come out in Singles later so you would have been able to buy them. It makes more of a negative than positive impact. Different characters would have been a win-win. Anyone who didn't buy a Starter would be able to buy Cynder and Jet-Vac in Singles while those who did wouldn't end up with even more duplicates. Tree Rex is bad enough.

To each his own. I already have two tree rexes so there is no way I would purchase gnarly just to get a third. I did wish I knew that jet-Vac was in that pack. I would have bought the portal owners pack if I knew that. I most certainly could have waited. Companies bank of impatience to make money. It's why none us waited until this last weekend to get the game a lot cheaper then what we bought it for.

Why are people complaining about Jet-Vac? You can't change his paths, but you can with Cynder.

Well, we already have Legendary Jet-Vac for that... But you bring up a good point... This is a problem with the packs in general giving people who want the variants in them so many duplicates. :T

The reason they did it is probably lack of creativity when it comes to 'sorting' out the starter packs. Either that, or they intentionally want everyone to have the same thing and don't realize a majority of people who get the game are going to get it on multiple systems. I WOULD say I don't mind getting extra Cynders, but I do, as they can change paths. Getting multiple Jet-Vacs isn't so bad considering you can have one on each path.

Why they bothered to make him the Air Legendary, I'll never know. Figuring that Whirlwind has an alternate (Polar) and Warnado isn't being remade, that still gave them Sonic Boom and Lightning Rod to play with. I'd have LOVED a Legendary Lightning Rod.

Hey, it's my opinion, and I'd like to think that if they have the nerve to force non-3DS starter packs to get him, then make TWO variants, they REALLY want everyone to have one, because they probably wouldn't otherwise. I'm not sure if he has a big following, but I don't think he's the one new Skylander that everyone wants.

Jet-vac and Cynder are basically the reason I haven't bought battlegrounds yet (and probably won't) even though I want Royal DT. I've got 4 jet-vacs and like 3 cynders already. :/

I don't mind the legendary and light core but I will have 2 normal jet-vacs and 2 normal cynders. I would sell then but at this point you couldnt give them away.

Haha I was thinking this same thing the other day. I agree, while he's a good character to have, no one needs that many Though I have 3 versions of him myself, and barely use them :/ (LightCore, Regular, Legendary)- Lightcore is my favourite of them all.

Even if he is your favorite character, do you really need four of him? I don't think anybody would four of one skylander, even if it was your favorite.
