Just got GITD Sonic Boom tonight and my daughter put it on the original portal with S:SA on Xbox 360 and it acted just like the original Sonic Boom. It even showed the starting level 5 and the 2100 treasure. I thought this wasnt possible! Lies...conspiracy?

All S2 work on S:SA. Says it right on the side of the box.

They just don't get their Wow Pow or the ability to switch upgrade paths (on S:SA)

I think, don't take my word for it, if you take one path on S:SA, go to Giants and switch paths, then other path will then also be playable on S:SA)

the problem with looking at the box, is that some of them say they dont work in S:SA because lightcores dont have the smart bomb, and Series 2s figures dont have Wow Pows in the first game. They have to put red X's on them sometimes because of technicalities.

So there will be some characters that have red Xs for S:SA, but you CAN play them in that game. It just needs to be any version of one of the first 32 characters.

^S2 Sonic Boom has two check marks so it doesn't matter.

I believe Legendary Stealth Elf plays as normal Stealth Elf on Skylander Adventures.

Legendary Ignitor and Slam Bam DO work in SA. They just appear in their normal, non-legendary forms.

Who reads the box? I wanna play! Well I guess you guys did. My ignorance is apparent oops. I swear before launch it was said S2 figures wouldnt work on S:SA, but I may be confusing myself being so busy with work and college. This is great for my kids though. Less fighting over figures once my son gets old enough. Thanks for the feedback.
