Ok so not really any one wonders why they brought back the old figures but they reposed them but they might not of remade hex but they thought that they should because the original was weak I don't mean as in how strong she is in the game I mean the figure becuase most hexs you see have their arms are broke off so they reposed her now they can make even more money!

its weird though cause they wernt gonna bring her back because her arms broke but they thought to remake her cause of the arms

they couldve had lightcore gohst roaster, in his skull charge, that lights up. would be epic!

I think hex's series 2 pose would have been perfect as her lightcore pose and vice versa

They should have just stuck with hex's eyes and skull glow. Seriously, under the dress? (dirty!)

Well, look at the other Undead options they had. Cynder would be more mediocre than Drobot in terms of what could be lit, Ghost Roaster is not reposed at all, Fright Rider is excluded because of the 50-50 split between old and new characters that lighting him would disturb, and Chop Chop is too spindly to wire properly from a technical perspective. Who else did they even have but Hex? It's a decision of necessity.

Well, GR could have been the LightCore for Undead....Just like all the unreposed guys. They should have been the LightCore for their corresponding elements....So that....

A) We don't have to get 2 Jet-Vacs just to complete the collection....
The LightCore could end up being more original....
C) New-Comers to Skylanders could get to know those 8 characters
D) It would give people who didn't get those 8 characters a second chance to get them
E) SO I CAN HAVE SUNBURN AND CAMO!!!!!! (which yea, is the same as D....)

TFB has a monthly timer too. It forces them to make bad decisions like LC Hex.

TFB screws up a lot. Drobot's original art is still the one they used in Giants for S1 Drobot. That one Skylanders carrying case still has Boomer, Gill Grunt, Sunburn, and Drobot in their original art. Zap's eyes are red in his art, but yellow on his figure. The SSA trailer had Camo's original prototype in it. Y U mess up so much TFB?

LightCore Hex had all the potential to be cool - glowing skulls,glowing eyes,glowing runes in the dress because damn runes make everything awesome. But no,they had to make the least needed part ever to glow...
When I was in a games fair that had SG in it,I tried asking someone that worked in TFB why did they chose that,but since he was a publisher,he had no idea.Bummer,because Hex is my favorite Skylander,yet had to be the punchline of some innapropriate joke...

LC-Hex is easily better than LC-Drobot, despite complaints. Just making sure that's out there too--she's in no way their only mediocre entry in the Light Core field, and far from the worst. A little, dim orange light on Drobot's back is insulting to the customer and character alike, especially since he cannot switch paths or use Wow Pow abilities.

I hate when expectations and reality collide. For instance, when I first saw that massive picture of the Giants characters released months before the game, and found out about the Light-Core stuff, I figured the statue with Hex raising that orb over her head (couldn't see it was a skull in a ball back then) was the Light-Core one, and that IT would be the part that lit up.

Also thought they would have different moves. I figured one of the three moves would be different on those versions and thus we'd have some variety. Figured maybe that was something replacing her Skull Rain or Bone Wall, some sort of charge-up attack like a Spirit-Bomb or something.

Now, of course, reality sets in, and I find she's a sub-par Lightcore with no extra moves at all and neither of the benefits of an S2 figure. Great.

Light-Core Drobot was a real let-down too, of course. I remember seeing something on the picture with energy beams coming out of its eyes and figured THAT was his Light-Core, and it would be AWESOME.

I never even thought about "why her dress glowed" since I just thought it was a cool effect. :/

I've never understood why people hate Hex so much. I always thought she was pretty cool. She's not the best character in terms of power, but for the type of people who like to play as the less overpowered characters, Hex on Bone Crafter and Chop-Chop on Vampiric Warrior are great choices. If anything they should have kicked out Cynder, kept Ghost Roaster, and not made ANY lightcores. That way there would be no lightcore garbage, it'd be one more step towards getting rid of the Spyro related stuff and letting the two franchises go their separate ways, Ghost Roaster fans would be happy, and Hex fans would be happy. Keeping Cynder in the game only makes the Spyro fans happy, who by this point have already accepted that Skylanders is a seperate franchise and don't really care that much anymore if Spyro and Cynder are in it.

I'm not all that great of a Spyro fan. Amazing that I'm on this site, right? Well, it's not that I'm not a fan or am a fan, just that I acknowledge that there are effectivtely three or four versions of the same character with different personalities and histories and whatnot, as different groups kept retconning his history for each game. So it's hard to be specifically a fan of Spyro himself. In Skylanders he's got a great go-get-em attitude but is sub-par in gameplay, which really ruins things. I mean, it could be worse, he could be Zap or something, but I expected a guy who was the flagship character to... well.. be better.

Likewise, the 'old' versions of Cynder annoyed me, but I LOVE this version of her. Her attitude, her appearance, her combat style, her effects and graphics, it's all great.

Hex is probably the best undead Skylander!!!!!!!!! If you use her the right way.

they only did make them.... to earn money.... s2 is totally useless.. but as usually you need them to max out your skylanders for the second and the third game of skylanders that comes next year... it will got online mp... they will ante-up the battle areas and survival mode... then you will be depending on owning all skylanders (including the reposed) to win.......

I still don't understand why people hate LC Drobot so much when LC Eruptor has the worst effect so far. It looks murky and fake and it doesn't make sense because he doesn't even get the Wow Pow like S2. In my opinion, the order I like is Shroomboom > Drobot > Prism Break > Jet-Vac > Chill > Pop Fizz > Hex > Eruptor But maybe I'm just saying that because both of Drobot's other figures have sucky poses...

At least Eruptor's lightcore makes sense. He spits lava out of his mouth, Drobot doesn't do anything with his back. Eruptor's is far better, and if I had to get a lightcore it would be eruptor. Prism Break by far has the coolest light up effect but his S2 pose it better.

So Afterburners don't exist?
Prism Break feels a bit cheap just because his shoulder crystals aren't lit.

The same goes with Drobot's eyes, Hex's skull, and many other things. TFB just didn't make the lightcores as cool as they could've been.

WE SHOULD START A TFB/ACTIVISION LINK OF BRAINSTORMING IDEAS FOR THEIR NEW GAME!!
They will be tired at the end of the year and appreciate the help anyway..

I vote that Hex series 2 should have been the Lightcore figure too.. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME!! and I don't even like her that much..
They should have tried to get something else in Drobot to light up..besides a speck..Eyes, Edge of wings, something...
Next time Hot Heads hands should light up too..
Give Ghost Roaster a Green Glowing Skull Lightcore..
Eruptor's hands should glow too..eyes maybe..
Double Trouble's Staff Topper..whatever it's called..should light up and the little minion should glow..
Zook's Bazooka could glow..or he could be Transparent Green..
Lightning Rod's hair could be transparent brown and his rod's could glow, or his body could be blue and light up..
Fright Rider's ostrich could be transparent and glow..a light blue
Get a Rainbow to light up for Whirlwind with different colored stripes of tranparent plastic so that when a white light would hit it would still be all different colors...or light up the clouds
Chop Chop's sword and shield could glow grey..deathly looking..or wait his Bones could be transparent white and light up..
Flashwing's Wings are a Must to glow!!
Chill's Sword and Blades need to glow..
Hot Dog's tongue and tail..glow orange..
Sprocket's goggles or eyes could glow, and her wrench or Orange hair could be transparent and glow..or one of her tanks she sits in could be transparent and and light up around her figure..
Spyro's horns and the underside of his wings should glow orange..like his charge attack.
I could go on and on..brainstorming.
Anymore ideas.. New worlds.. Islands..?

Does anyone think a brainstorming session like this would help as a new topic..Maybe one we could vote on so it would hang around long enough so that the upper powers/creators might see it?
