The fact that they hate it all boils down to them being closeminded. Most of them haven't even picked up a controler and played it.

I don't get the hate for the game. I'm not a fan of Spyro though. I find this game to be more fun gameplay wise than what the Spyro fans seem to like. I also think his design here is better looking than the "classic" although I could care less about what something looks like. o.o

Well, haters 'gon hate... I grew up with Spyro and am a HUGE fan of the original games, but some people are just sour and like to see things in a bad light... I see Skylanders as a way to revive the Spyro name in a new way, with a new generation... heck this whole concept is revolutionizing gaming as we know it (Disney isn't the only one developing this idea of playable/interactive figurines now), and I'm proud that the Spyro name is at the front of it all!! Don't get me wrong, nothing's perfect but I think some just can't get over the fact that it's a new style of gaming and get hung up on the fact that since Spyro is tied to it it MUST be like the old games or it's unacceptable... i'm just glad not all of us original fans are like that, or we'd all have a bad name!! lol smilie

I've never touched a Spyro game in my life. I just never tried it. Although, Skylanders has got me thinking about buying the LOS series. I don't have the right consoles for the classics. smilie

Because of Spyro being in it. He was a kool character with personality, then he was turned into a deep dragon voiced by a nine year old.
